Quaint, cozy, hospitable staff. Kitchen serves tasty food but is slightly unorganised in off season. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Fabulous retreat in a busy city
Publié le 16 oct. 2013 sur Expedia
Pour : The staff were exceptional. The manager, Birant, went out of his way to be helpful, booking drivers, arranging flights, organizing tours.
Contre : A little more local choice (Nepali food) on the menu.
Emplacement : Location was about 10-15 minutes from Thamel. There was little in the area so you had to take a taxi everywhere but that was ok.
Arrived at night so when I woke up in the morning, birds were chirping and I could hear a woman chanting prayers in the distance. Walked out onto my balcony and looked out over the rooftops and down into a beautiful, lush garden. Delightful.

Pour : Staff were friendly, but inexperienced.
Contre : Was not value for money.
Emplacement : Middle of a residential area, nothing around for eating out, but a good nights sleep
There is nothing within the vicinity of the hotel, therefore your only option is to dine in the restaurant, with a limited menu. We paid extra for wifi, unlike budget hotels we stayed in in Kathmandu, this hotel did not have a battery back up to maintain the wifi during the usual power cut, therefore we paid for a service which we barely used.
Showerhead showered all the bathroom with the exception of your body! Room is in need of a refurbishment. Cable TV signal was useless.

Great little boutique hotel
Publié le 23 nov. 2012 sur ExpediaThis is a great little hotel. Staff are intelligent and very attentive. It's in a more suburban area of Kathmandu and a good escape from Te hustle and bustle of the city. The food was fantastic. It's well designed and Te rooms are spacious and modern.
