Beautifully decorated and wonderful, friendly staff. We felt at home right away. Breakfast was great and served by a warm, kind staff member. There were plenty of snacks throughout the day. There are a lot of comfortable places to relax outside your room as well. The backyard and garden are stunning. We had coffee outside each morning. The Lily Inn is close to the riverwalk, as well as restaurants, pubs, pizza, coffee shops, and a great place for ice cream. We can't wait to go back.

Candace made us feel so welcome and was very understanding when it came to our young son's dietary restrictions at breakfast. The room and common areas were clean but a fresh set of towels for each day would have been a plus. The surrounding area did not have much to offer after we came back to the room after spending all day out. Not many places were open and the few places that were, including a restaurant, was mediocre at best. Overall, we like the old charm of the place and Candace was awesome.

As we do our best to respect your space, please know that you can reach out should you need anything if you do not see a host nearby. We apologize that (1) we missed the opportunity to assist in the way you had hoped, and that (2) you were also unable to find a decent option in the restaurant department. The Inn is very comfortable and cute. We had a great stay. We will definitely stay again. We stayed in one of the suites and were very comfortable. One criticism is that breakfast is served at a large dining room table and its uncomfortable sitting so close to strangers. It's probably nice for some people but I'd prefer to see a few two or four top tables.
The restaurants around the Inn are not good in my opinion.

Great, Kyle. Glad to know that you were comfy and would stay again! And yes, the "breakfast with strangers" experience is not for all, however it is what we offer. Hopefully, you'll find a restaurant to your liking should you decide to visit again.

Beautiful room and house. Host shared all relevant info and then gave total privacy. The area itself was a mixed bag but a few good spots to eat and close drive to other towns.

Cute bed and breakfast
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HotelsSuch a cute bed and breakfast. We arrived at night and it was beautiful to drive through the historic High Street area. My code didn't work upon arrival but there are 3 phone numbers on the door to call. I circled through all of them and was answered when calling the 2nd time through. Wish we had more time to explore the house, just there one night. Breakfast was different: the reviews were really good so had high expectations and was also asked if any allergies so was thinking it would be more to choose from. There were tiny cinnamon rolls and muffins, some fruits, breads with spreads, then the hot food was a a 9" glass pan with scrambled eggs. Drinks were coffee and juice.
