The worst hotel we have ever stayed at

Bedroom - no towels. Run out of loo rolls. Toiletries not as described as shown on website. A dress was hanging up in wardrobe (not mine). Bathroom was mouldy
Dining room. Carpet needed a vacuum there was chips on the floor at breakfast so clearly no one had vacuumed up from the evening before. it was the same poor state the next day at breakfast. If you state the veggie sausages where quorn then you should serve quorn (though I did get quorn on my second day)
The lounge carpet smells really bad hence I decided not to eat in there with the dog
Needless to say we won’t come back even if it was free

Attended a wedding here - perfect place for this
Rooms are large and clean. Food was good

The Higher Trapp Hotel was lovely. The staff were friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfy and the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was very good! I'd stay here again if in the area.

We had an amazing stay once again for our 1st wedding anniversary. Big shout out to Georgia and Megan. They are a great asset to the Higher Trapp Hotel xx

Olde Worlde charm, sumptuous wood panelled lounge, bar and nice restaurant with good food.
Some aspects a little dated and could benefit from an upgrade.
