Very remote! Very limited cell service and very seldom heard a vehicle. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner's parents and that helped make the stay even better! Most relaxing vacation ever

In 7th Heaven at Cabin on the river
Second visit to this wonderful place! Everything was perfect - cabin, comfort, cleanliness; setting on the river was lovely. My dogs couldn’t wait to splash around in the gently moving river. And they had a great time running in the field and exploring the woods around the cabin. Host is very accommodating. I will definitely return! Highly recommend a stay at the cabin.

We love staying here. Great river access. We enjoyed the kayaks. Private and peaceful. We saw a momma turkey with eight little babies in the yard. Our dog Jill loves playing in the river and running around the property.👍

Beautiful property
I don't even remember how many times we visited this cabin. It's our favorite cabin by far, and we will definitely come back again. Clean cabin, hiking trails on the property, river with a beach. You dont have to leave, maybe only for a pizza at Hog Hollow...we really like their pizza, and its about a 15 minute drive. Great seating area and good beer selection.

Short distance to spruce pine. The dogs loved the river and exploring in the woods ( no leash). The blackstone grill was nice. We loved the cabin and covered porch overlooking the river.

Private River and Peaceful
This place was so much more than what you see in the pictures. It was incredible. We had the most peaceful time at this cabin and on the river. We did fly fish towards the east side of the river and caught 4 fish. We will be back again and can't wait!

Cozy Cabin on the River
The cabin was beyond perfect! The place was spotless when we arrived, everything was in working order and the property was beautiful and well-kept. Our dogs loved being right on the water and having so much private space to run around. The fall colors were just starting to pop and it was incredible! We would live here if we could! Highly recommend this place - we would love to come back in the future!

Perfect River Cabin Getaway
The property was perfect. Wouldn’t change a thing. We really enjoyed every thing the river, the porch, the fire pit. Mt. Mitchell isn’t far. Linville Falls is amazing. By far our best get away yet. We usually don’t go back to the same properties but we definitely will be back to this one.

Very quiet and peaceful. The river is very clean and beautiful. There are wild turkeys, bald eagles, and deer. The owner and his father are very nice, absolutely loved our stay . Will definitely go back.

Peaceful and relaxing!!
The weather was wonderful for kayaking, looking for rocks in the river, and sitting on the porch! Mr. Blake and his family are the most wonderful people and hosts, they make you feel right at home. This is our 3rd time staying, and we will certainly be back!

Great property!
This cabin was just as listed. My family & I loved the privacy of the cabin. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed as far as kitchen supplies. We loved the beach area with great rocks to admire. The kayaks and inner tubes made it extra special. The outdoor grill and front porch were also great bonuses. We look forward to coming again!
