Spacious and clean!
Publié le 11 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay at Old Mallard. It was clean, spacious and mostly as described. The pool area, although closed, looked a bit messy. The main floor bedrooms were great and the kids loved the bunk room. The dining area was plenty big for 10 of us! There were not any games as listed in the site, but lots of books.
The basement and bathrooms need a little work and the basement twin room is rustic.
None of this really impacted our stay. Would be nicer with some fixes but we still say the house and hosts are a 5!

Great Location
Publié le 4 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed for a weekend with cousins and family. Typically, I would host and decided it would be nice to get away. The house has great open space for gathering. Lakefront with a dock that has benches.
Comfortable accommodations and the house is fully stocked with everything you need in the kitchen.

Perfect!

We were so grateful for all of the resources and toys for our almost 2 year old (pack n play, high chair, baby gate, etc.) Jose was an excellent host, available and helpful with any questions. Some perks:
-20 minutes to Shawnee.
-Indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, & gorgeous lakefront property. Special shoutout for Jose’s honesty for calling us so quickly when we left something very important behind! Hope we can come back!
