Lovely place to stay very clean and nice staff. The bbq areas do need upgrading but otherwise lovely

The unit was clean apart from all the tiny black bugs (insects) flying around.

We are happy to learn that you found the villa clean, though we are sorry to learn that the insects caused some inconvenience during your stay. As we are situated in a rural area surrounded by thick vegetation, and with the warmer weather, insects can sometimes be a challenge. This is why we have made sure all doors and windows are fitted with fly screens, and we also provide insect spray in each villa to help manage the situation. Very comfortable room with a spa bath. Staff friendly and helpful. Only one complaint, there was no microwave in the room for heating things up

Regarding your comment about the microwave, as you booked a basic Resort Room, these particular rooms do not come equipped with a microwave, kitchenette, or dining facilities. However, for your next stay, you might like to consider booking one of our Studio Villas or higher, as those do include kitchen facilities, including a microwave, which might better suit your needs. My main beef is just that they use some sort of perfumed cleaning products or air freshners that my allergies and smell sensitivity finds awful - like most perfumes, it gives me a headache. I also couldn't get the heater to work. But the bath is magnificent as is the pool which is under glass so warm enough to swim in cooler weather.
