Très beau resort mais...
Publié le 4 avr. 2020 sur HotelsTrès beau resort de part sa localisation éloignée, de son isolement et de sa vue. Staff au top. Par contre, les chambres mériteraient un refresh, notamment au niveau des banquettes qui ont vieilli (jaune sale), idem pour celles des terrasses et du resto, la sensation de confort y gagnerait. Autre souci : pas de wifi dans les chambres, ni resto, ni piscine donc assez handicapant.

The property is beautiful & staff is very friendly & the amenities are top notch. The pool was great, people were friendly & restaurant was good. The views are spectacular.
However, we were disappointed with the cottage we were assigned. Firstly, there was no wifi, very poor hot water pressure. The net was broken and we had insects in the room & supposedly a gecko that would poop inside the cottage. Our fan was not working & AC would not cool.
It is also very far away from the main town & commenting back & forth is time consuming and expensive. So I would double check the location before booking.
Overall, we had a good time & we would go back (in a better cottage)

The property had gorgeous views. Food was good. However you have to go down lengths of stairs to get to the restaurant. Not for weak knees.

The whole stay was amazing. Staff was great and helpful. They have arranged spa, tours, room service, early breakfast delivery and packed lunch, and transportation for us. The room has a breathtaking view and the design has a mediterranean feel to it. Very unique.
Now, this hotel is very far from the town and each way cost 2,500. That’s the biggest issue we had. Not their fault. All transpo service offers that price.
Also the hotel is a bit run down and needs maintenance. There’s lots of tiny cracks and holes so there are lots of bugs and geckos inside the room. Be ready with bug spray. The view from the window would have been great but the windows need cleaning.
Overall though, we liked our stay. We would come back

Well if you don’t mind walking up and down 60 steps to the dining area ( steep steps ) or no bottled water or coffee in your room the have at it . 800 pesos a day to rent the motorbike when everywhere else is 500 peso. Not to mention it’s double the price 180 usd to have a tv in your room. Please let me not forget the internet is practically non existent. And the food is terrible. I would suggest that Expedia remove this place from their list of hotels. If your elderly do not come to this place as you will not be staying long due to the stairs and location. Let’s not forget the open billing policy they try to impose on you ( watch your bill )

Dear Robert, Thank you for sharing your honest opinion. Please allow me to respond to the points you raised. It is true that we do not offer complimentary bottled water or coffee in our rooms, but we do offer complimentary filtered water in our rooms. There are no limits to refills, which are by request. The reason for this is that we are avoiding additional plastic waste. As for the coffee, we serve complimentary French-pressed coffee at the restaurant as part of the set breakfast included in the room. Because of our natural location and the natural materials used in our rooms, ants and other small insects easily make their way inside if we have food/drinks left unattended inside.With regards to the stairs needed to navigate the natural terrain of our hillside peninsula, we do our best to illustrate these in photos, and advise guests when we can that they need to be ready for this.We do not provide a TV in our rooms in order to not distract from the beautiful views. We only have one room that has a TV, and it is the two-bedroom Seaview Casita with living and dining areas. That is the reason why the rate is doubled-- you are literally getting double the amount of bedrooms plus additional spaces, and not just because there's a TV. Wifi is available at the reception and restaurant areas only, as postpaid broadband lines are currently not yet available in our area. We are pleased to share however, that we are now awaiting installation of a new satellite internet service to help with our connectivity. Regarding the motorbike rental, we do price our rentals higher than smaller shops because we vet the units (upon checking, the unit you rented is brand new and well maintained) and our operational costs and added values are higher than theirs. I apologize that our food did not meet your expectations. Our guests often remark that our food quality is very good, and I am sorry that on this occasion, we did not live up to our guest's standards. I apologize that our service team was not able to detect this issue during your stay, so that it could be addressed immediately. Lastly, I apologize that you felt our open billing policy was an imposition on you. Guests are at liberty to pay every transaction if they wish, and can ask to be presented the bill at every transaction. Just let us know upon check-in of your preference.In summary, I'm sorry that you did not have a good experience during your stay with us. If you were able to share these with us during your stay, it would have been a great opportunity for us to be of better service to you.
