Great house great location
Publié le 5 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe (a family of 6 including 4 teenagers) spent almost a week at Marco’s house and were sad to leave. The house and its setting were gorgeous. Nothing was left to chance. The house is clean and Marco and his wife have thought of everything their guests could need during their stay. We had some of our best meals in Italy in the village of Buti at a restaurant recommended by Marco. Daniela, the private chef recommended by Marco, showed us how to make gnocchi and prepared for us a wonderful meal one night. The cities of Florence, Pisa and Lucca are close enough for a day visit. We will return to this house one day.

Excellent séjour
Publié le 28 août 2020 sur HomeAwayNotre séjour s'est très bien déroulé dans la maison de Marco. Il a toujours été disponible et très serviable avec nous. La maison est bien équipée et dispose de toutes les commodités nécessaires pour passer un tres bon séjour.

un superbe séjour
Publié le 18 août 2020 sur HomeAwayLa maison de Marco est superbe, bien aménagée et paysagée, et sa décoration très soignée. Le point fort est incontestablement la piscine de rêve avec une vue à couper le souffle sur la vallée et les cigales en fond sonore. Marco est un hôte extrêmement diligent, qui a toujours répondu très rapidement à nos questions et demandes. A noter que Marco laisse à disposition de ses locataires des produits ménagers et quelques produits alimentaires de première nécessité, ce qui est extrêmement appréciable. Un tout petit bémol: la villa est un peu loin du sud de la Toscane ce qui rend moins facile le déplacement à la journée sur certains sites comme Sienne ou les thermes naturels (Bagni san Filippo, Saturnia). Mais globalement nous recommandons vivement cette location!

Une maison spacieuse et bien équipée, une piscine magnifique et très agréable (transats, parasols, bouées gonflables, bains à remous, brumisateurs...), un extérieur équipé d’un barbecue, four à pizza, tables de jardin et salon de jardin, une cour agréable pour les enfants, un jardin bien entretenu et une vue à couper le souffle! Marco a été un hôte très sympathique, disponible et facilement joignable!

Calme, relaxation et luxe
Publié le 10 août 2016 sur HomeAwayUn très beau panorama, un jardin luxuriant et très bien entretenu, les cigales la journée les grillons le soir. Une villa retapée avec goût et très confortable le tout agrémenté d'une piscine exceptionnelle par sa taille et ses jeux d'eau. Un moment précieux dans ce monde trop rapide qui incite à la détente totale et à l'inertie... Bbq top, four à pizza un must pour les amateurs sans compter sur la gentillesse et disponibilité des propriétaires !
À refaire sans hésitation avec une semaine de plus.
Ps surtout ne pas hésiter à acheter l'huile d'olive du domaine car c'est la meilleure du monde :-)

Perfect Tuscan Home

My husband and I were traveling with our three grown children and this house was roomy and comfortable and very clean. The interior was a great mix of modern with a traditional flair. The setting was absolutely beautiful with the views of the valley and the pool and the olive trees. The landscape and exterior spaces were impeccably maintained . We traveled in early October so the pool was a little chilly but it was still nice to sit beside. We did day trips to Cinque Terre, Lucca, Pisa and San Gimignano. The location was perfect and even the small town of Buti was fun to explore. Marco was easy to communicate with and helped answer all our questions. Check in was quick and easy. He even helped arrange Daniella to come cook a delicious Birthday Dinner at the house, which was a highlight of our stay. Her food was amazing and I would definitely recommend taking advantage of this opportunity. We ate outside and were able to enjoy our perfect setting. We loved everything about this home and would love to come back again. Thank you Marco for sharing your home with us and letting us create memories we will cherish forever.

Owner Marco and his wife were so welcoming, responsive to any needs and had suggestions for restaurants. We had a few issues that were taken care of immediately.
The location in Buti was perfect as a base to see Tuscany. The town itself was small and had a few good restaurants, markets for food, and was walkable with a bit of a hill to come back. Parking in town was easy too.
To find the villa initially was challenging but the remoteness was part of the charm. It was quiet an had a nice view of the valley and the town of Buti. Great sunsets.
The villa itself had 1 bedroom downstairs and a shared bathroom with the living areas. Upstairs were 3 bedrooms all sharing an upstairs bathrooms. Very comfortable. The common areas had a well stocked kitchen with any cooking needs, a comfy living room, dining room with a table that seats 8. More comfy chairs might be nice. Outside was another beautiful table that seated 10, and other seating areas for lounging. The pool was nice but I do wish it was heated. No hot tub. Great lounge chairs and pool towels. A fire pit would have been nice too for late nights outside. Easy parking.
Laundry was available in the house.
We had a nice chef cooked dinner by Daniela that could be arranged with Marco. She took care of the prep, service, and clean up. Such a treat and pretty good Italian food too. She will also do a cooking class if you want.
All in all, a great vacation for us and 3 other couples. Would definitely book again.

Perfect
Publié le 26 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayAbsolutely beautiful villa in every way. The property is equipped and maintained to the highest standard without exception.
The outdoor cooking space made it perfect for evenings on the terrace with views over Buti and the surrounding area. The pool is amazing - we struggled to get the children (and grown ups) out of it!
The location is perfect for access to so many ‘must see’ places. We visited Lucca, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence and Cinque Terre during our stay. Some of our family also took a trip to Rome by train from Pisa.
Our stay was to celebrate a special occasion as a family and a local chef recommended by Marco came and cooked us a wonderful, authentic Italian meal.
Marco is the most welcoming and gracious host and went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely perfect.
Can’t recommend this beautiful villa highly enough!

Einfach nur spektakulär
Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWir hatten wundervolle 8 Tage in diesem einmaligen Haus.
Das Haus liegt auf einem Berg und somit war immer ein frischer Wind trotz hoher Temperatur. Der Pool ist gigantisch und sehr sauber. Wir konnten sogar ein Sub benutzen.
Die Aussicht ist unbeschreiblich zu jeder Tageszeit aber am schönsten in der Nacht. Es ist alles sehr schön beleuchtet. Wir haben den Innenbereich kaum genutzt.
Die Kommunikation mit Marco war reibungslos. Check in und check out waren easy.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.
