Beautiful house. Everything high quality from welcome in lounge to decor, cleanliness, rooms and attention to every detail possible. So much thought, care, judgement and love have gone into this exemplary B and B. It is a huge credit to the owners! Thank you!!

An excellent place to stay

Great place to stay!

Peak District Break
Publié le 12 août 2023 sur HotelsTricia and Andrew were the perfect hosts during our stay. Room and bathroom very comfortable and spacious and a good selection of food for breakfast. Very handy for The Star next door which served amazing pies.

A Relaxing Time
Publié le 5 août 2023 sur HotelsThe Old Vicarage is situated in a a quaint historic village that is close to Buxton for the opera and Bakewell for it's tarts and puddings. Ideal for walkers and cyclists as there is the former railway line that links places of interest and enables you to enjoy the dales.
The hosts Andrew & Tricia are friendly and charming. The rooms are spacious and spotless with tea making facilities. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of choice. The Old Vicarage's decor reflects its history and is cosy and tasteful.
The Star Inn near the Old Vicarage deserves a visit for its home cooked food.

The Old Vicarage B&B was a wonderful place to start our first visit to The Peak District. The location was great as it was very central for the area. The property was beautifully maintained, bedrooms are very comfortable and kept pristinely clean and the breakfast was excellent. Andrew and Tricia were lovely hosts, very knowledgeable about the area and gave us lots of hints and tips. Would highly recommend a visit and we will certainly be returning.
