Firstly, I would like to say that I am very, very surprised by your review. It seems that you have intentionally tried to sabotage our listing by rating it as 1-star. Every other review, including reviews on Airbnb, have high ratings and outstanding comments. I find it interesting that you chose to focus on the smallest of details and not the fact that it is a beautiful spacious home with your own private pool. The rooftop deck has lounge chairs and you could have put them around the pool if you wanted. Not to mention that there is a small sofa and 4 chairs around the pool already. You didn’t mention the early check-in that you requested that I readily agreed to; instead, you highlighted that I couldn’t accommodate your late checkout request. Unfortunately, I couldn’t accommodate it because we had new renters arriving, and as a part of their reservation request, I agreed to let them check-in early because they had already arrived at 3:00 am and were waiting around so we needed the time to get the house ready for them. You mentioned that there was nowhere to hang wet towels but there are hooks on the side of the stairs to the rooftop deck for that purpose and many railings on the rooftop deck that can be used to quickly dry wet towels in the sun. You mentioned a ridiculous Jacuzzi in the master bedroom. A $2000 thousand dollar Jacuzzi for 3 persons is considered a luxury for a rental property. The house is equipped with outdoor lights in the back, front and side of the house. The light that you are referring to in the back is a safety floodlight that comes on for 5 seconds when you first put the light on. It has a sensor and will go back on if someone passes by, but the main backlight stays on the whole time. There is always light in the back and we provided the floodlight as an extra measure. We cannot control if the water pressure is sometimes lower as this is up to the city that provides the water and water pressure. Yes, it does sometimes take a little longer to fill up the Jacuzzi in high peak times. In reference to the housekeeper, when you booked the house it said that a maid was included 3 hours per day, 6-days per week. If you didn’t want the maid service I wish you would have told me and I would have asked her not to come. Casa Bonita has an excellent reputation and excellent reviews and this review of 1-star for a beautiful home in a charming and safe beach-front community right on Cabarete Bay is so disappointing & perplexing to me.
