3 bedroom cottage on the lakeshore of Lake Namakagon's Mumm's Bay. Perched only feet from the lakeshore, this private location offers a panoramic lake view, sandy lake bottom for good swimming, stand-up paddleboards (SUPs & kayaks available - inquire when reserving), lakeside fire pit and private dock for easy access to these popular fishing and recreational waters.

Enjoy quiet campfires and the sounds of the waves breaking on the shore with the Loons in the quiet background. A private dock (pier) and nice seclusion make this a pristine choice!

Inside, cozy up around the fire in the great room on the large sectional. On rainy days, enjoy the entertainment system with Roku TV, blue-tooth enabled sound bar, and DVD player. Access the high-speed Wi-Fi from all the rooms. Or choose from our selection of games and puzzles for all ages!

Open kitchen, updated appliances, (new 2024) high quality Kinetico Aquatico water system, dishwasher and all the kitchen electronics and dishes you need to easily entertain.

Some of the most beautiful and challenging X-C ski trails in the Cable, Wisconsin Area and in the State of Wisconsin are only minutes from Serendipity, including the Rock Lake cross-country ski trails, Namekagon Ski Trail and the world-renowned American Birkebeiner Ski Trail.

Lake Namakagon is the tenth largest natural lake in Wisconsin. *Serendipity* cottage is located on the shoreline of Picnic Point on Mumm's Bay. One of only three Wisconsin lakes to be managed as a trophy musky lake, Lake Namakagon is a fisherman’s paradise. We regularly see musky catches of 40” or more! This lake also offers abundant walleye, bass, northern pike, crappies and pan fish.

Beautiful cabin near the water
This was a beautiful winter location. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace and sun streaming in the windows. Everything we needed was provided. The WiFi worked well and the hot water was plentiful. Thank you!

Great Cabin
The cabin was very clean and a wonderful getaway for our family of four. Plenty of room in the cabin with a nice main living space. Kitchen was well setup with plenty of dishes and cooking items to be comfortable with meals at the cabin. The bay was quiet and peaceful, great for kayaking or paddle boarding. Would definitely stay again!

End of August Up North Vacation
Although the weather was cold and cloudy our whole visit, the cabin was still awesome as was the location on the lake. The lake would have been great for watersports fun had the weather cooperated. We hope to be able to stay here again next summer.

We absolutely love the property and location. The cottage is clean and well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked with all the things you need for cooking and grilling. The beds are super comfortable. Fishing was great off the dock. It was very easy to communicate with the owners and to check in.

Memory making at Lake Namakagon
We have returned for the third time to this cabin on our favorite lake. We had a great time with their kayaks and paddle boards! Weather was mostly perfect and the fish were biting right off the dock. Cabin is well equipped and fun for all. Love the wildlife all around.

Lovely cabin
We really enjoyed this cabin on the lake. Lakefront was wonderful. The cabin was very comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed to cook. It was a great cabin for a couple of cold and rainy days that we had. Only downside was we couldn’t get in it until 5 day of check in, and I know it was because the cleaners were there…but that’s really late when you’re paying full price for the “night”.

Great place on the lake, we stayed for the Snow Outlaws race, able to ride right off the property
We stayed the weekend of the Snow Outlaws Race, this property offered a quick ride on sleds or side by sides on the road from the property across the lake to lLake Wood where the event was held as well to many of the resort’s around the area

View across the bay in October is beautiful. Plenty of parking for all your toys. Clean, great views of the lake. Only downfall with this property is one full bath, a second would be a benefit.

Overall the property was great! The location and amenities were more than we could ask for. Cleaning seemed to be a bit superficial, like where cabinets etc meet floors and ceiling fans were quite “furry”. None the less, the lake and surrounding area are beautiful. We’ll surely return to Cable.

Beautiful spot
We had a two night mini-cation at this cabin and would love to have stayed longer (they were fully booked). The location was quiet and private feeling. The cabin and lake were beautiful. Our only full day was cool and drizzly, but was perfect for fishing off the dock (and even better for fishing from a boat, judging by the people out in the bay). The owners were super nice, responsive to questions, and accommodating. Great spot!

Wonderful week
We had a lovely week in this cute and updated cottage. We loved that it had a small sand beach for the 5 year old and a nice dock, as well as a flat yard and very short distance from cottage to water. It was fun to watch the ducks and loons, eagles and osprey, etc go by. The kitchen was well supplied and appliances up to date. We didn't use the special water package but appreciated that it was available. We would be happy to stay here again! (Although we'd prefer -haha - to avoid the week of Mayfly infestation! They are creepy but harmless and now over after about a week's time).

Namekagon cabin
A tidy little cabin - smaller in person than the listing photos suggest but that's typically the case in my vrbo rental experience. Good internet speed so it was nice to stream movies/shows. No cell service in the area. Should have brought my mountain bike as there are solid trails to ride nearby. Fishing was poor but the lake was "turning" as the locals said. Really nice lake all the same.
