The month of September, immediately following an in-season, is utilized to maintain the grounds, and make needed repairs to individual units and the resort overall. Information to this effect is shared on our website. Unfortunately, the risk of disruption is ever-present during this time, particularly as it is hurricane season. This off-peak time is reflected in the lower nightly rates than other times of the year and because the guest numbers are fewer; it allows for a necessary pause in order to perform needed maintenance.Work being performed is limited to the hours of 9 am – 4 pm to help mitigate any possible disruption.Our onsite Concierge is available throughout your stay and our paramount concern is the comfort and overall pleasant stay of our guests. They responded to your call promptly, acknowledging your concerns by offering to relocate you and your party to an alternate unit – at no additional cost. Regrettably, we did not receive a response from you to this end.Villa La Estancia is one of the most well-regarded resorts in Cabo San Lucas. Hello Jeff, We are sorry to hear of your misunderstanding in referring to your unit as ocean front. The resort La Estancia which is ocean front and sits on Medano Beach, the most swimmable beach in Cabo San Lucas. Within the resort, there are oceanfront units, which are three-bedroom penthouses. These are available at a much higher rate than the unit you booked. The unit you selected is an ocean view, two-bedroom unit. These units are a different category than the three-bedroom penthouses. In light of the confusion, we would like to offer you a 15% discount for a future stay within the next 12 months.
