The Space:
360 Splendor #203 in Flamingo, in a 4-story tower on the very top of the hilly North Ridge, is a 1-bedroom luxury condo with spectacular, panoramic, 360-degree ocean views. Excuse me while I kiss the sky!
Your bedroom has a king-size bed, a TV and plenty of closet space. The bathroom is also spacious, and the balcony offers endless views of the vast Pacific. There’s another TV in the living room, and a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar.
360 Splendor del Pacifico is a magnificent mountaintop development with a gorgeous infinity pool and all the bells and whistles, but its greatest asset is views, views, views. Flamingo’s North Ridge is a steep, narrow peninsula that starts in downtown Flamingo and stretches over a mile into the ocean. 360 Splendor is about 500 yards from the beach.
On one side is Potrero Bay, where the gleaming new Marina Flamingo was inaugurated in February 2023. It has 92 slips for yachts and fishing boats, plus a central building with a wide variety of restaurants, shops and even a medical clinic.
On the other side is Brasilito Bay, home to the gorgeous Flamingo Beach, not to mention Brasilito and Playa Conchal, which is often called the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica.
The infinity pool in front of the 360 takes in these same views, offering nice poolside furniture, deck chairs and umbrellas. A community area on the roof of the 4-story structure offers a well-equipped kitchen area.
Air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, maid service and gated security are among the amenities at this 500-square-meter property. Small pets are allowed with a deposit and cleaning fee.

Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences.
A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where there’s an excellent private school called La Paz.
Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marie’s, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelina’s, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill.
Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, you’ll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store.
Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta.
Getting Around:
