Women's Retreat
Publié le 30 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayI hosted a women's movement and healing retreat and this place was perfect!! It was super private and serene. Our house chef, Alcira and her mom cooked every meal for us and the food was incredible. Manfred, the home owner, was responsive to our every need before and during our stay. Highly recommend this beautiful and unique property and location.

Great Location
Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe rented both properties for our large group of 32 guests and had plenty of room for everyone.
Manfred was great at answering my msg's before and during our trip.
The chef service was wonderfully delicious. The only think I would change is adding more meals.
The grounds staff was friendly and attentive.
Honestly, I can't say enough about our stay. We would book this again.

1. Avisar a los huéspedes con anticipación sobre la condición del camino de acceso a la casa, la dificultad de abrir el portón y el zancudero entre la casa y la playa, para que vengan preparados.
2. Revisar los utensilios para la parrillada; son incompletos.
3. La mesa atrás del sofá no está amarrada con la base y es muy peligrosa.
4. Hacer las inversiones para que la casa parezca más a las fotos.
Todo esto aparte, sí pasamos muy bien.

Nos alegra saber que disfrutaste de la ubicación y el espacio de Casa Guayacán. Con respecto a tus observaciones, nos gustaría ofrecer algunas aclaraciones:
Camino de acceso y portón: Efectivamente, el camino a la propiedad es de lastre y no está asfaltado, pero está nivelado y es transitable con vehículos urbanos. En cuanto al portón, es de dos hojas y cuenta con un candado de combinación. Hemos notado que el diseño del candado puede causar confusión, ya que las guías para alinear los números no están en el centro, sino hacia un costado. Esta información se proporciona en el mensaje de bienvenida para facilitar su uso.
Zancudos: Los mosquitos forman parte de la fauna natural del Parque Marino Las Baulas, donde se encuentra nuestra propiedad. Para minimizar su presencia, utilizamos sustancias naturales que los alejan, evitando el uso de insecticidas comerciales para proteger a las abejas y otros polinizadores vitales para el ecosistema.
Utensilios para la parrilla: Lamentamos que los utensilios no estuvieran completos durante tu estadía. Siempre procuramos que el kit esté disponible, y de haber sido notificados, te habríamos proporcionado un juego completo de inmediato.
Mesa en la sala: Agradecemos tu observación sobre la mesa consola. Ya hemos tomado nota y enviaremos la pieza al taller de ebanistería para que se asegure correctamente.
Fotografías de la casa: Reconocemos que algunas configuraciones de camas en las fotos no reflejan la disposición actual. Actualmente, la casa tiene cuatro dormitorios equipados con una cama tamaño king y una cama individual cada uno, y dos dormitorios con dos camas individuales cada uno. Actualizaremos las fotos en breve para reflejar con mayor precisión la disposición actual.
Nos alegra que, a pesar de estos detalles, hayan disfrutado de su estancia. Estamos comprometidos a mejorar continuamente y apreciamos tus sugerencias.

Perfect place to escape
Publié le 9 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our third visit to the property, but this was the first 4-night stay that we booked and organized for the occasion of my 50th birthday. We rented both sides of the property (bungalows and main guest house) for 36 friends and family.
The process of booking and working with the team for meals and activities was seamless. Because we had so many guests, it was comforting to know that we had someone working with us to plan this event. We love it here. It’s familiar, calming and secluded, but not too far away from many restaurant and activity options.
The new pool and indoor dining/kitchen area is an excellent addition to the property. However, it was a disappointment that the other pool and corresponding lofted patio were under construction and somewhat neglected due to the new area being open. We were happy to discover that the pool was still open and functioning, but the kitchen and patio was not usable by our large group of 36. The surprise did not diminish the fun, but it was an unwelcome discovery.
Needless to say, we hope to be back. We’ve celebrated birthdays and a wedding here, so it’s a place that is very special to us. Thank you for your care and commitment to providing visitors with a wonderful place to escape!

Casa Guayacan at Playa Grande

The recommendations were all great and the chef services were perfecto!. Anything that we needed was accessible right to the property. We could have stayed on the property the entire trip and we would have been comfortable and completely taken care of. The property is beautiful and the beach is amazing, with a surf break, sunsets and lightning storms to view from the second story spaces. Rainy season was enjoyable at Casa Guayacan. We hope to return someday.

Great spot for multi-generational family of 13
Publié le 22 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayOne of our favorite aspects was taking advantage of Alcira and her staff for cooking our meals. We had 7 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 7 dinners. All were delicious and special. We felt so pampered.
Alcira and Mariella were like family!
Staff were so attentive in cleaning every morning, and we had them do our laundry several times.
The property is a bit rustic, but we were aware of this and were fine with it. (You will likely share your space with crabs and geckos. ) Owner, Manfred was immediately responsive via onsite staff for any questions, repairs, etc.
Close by shops and restaurants available in Tamarindo via the water taxis (daylight hours).
Walk up the beach to a nearby market and cafe in the Palm Beach neighborhood.
Mandred hooked us up with Playa Grande Shuttles and Tours for airport transport and for many great excursions. We didn’t rent a car at all.

Beautiful Property on Unique Amazing Location!

House is great for big groups, staff is very supportive and responds quickly to all needs! Estuary is short walk and boat rides to Tamarindo are super easy! Living space is open air so it is warm but the bedrooms stay very cool and comfortable! Pool is awesome and grounds are well kept. Highly recommend this house!

Amazing retreat space right on the ocean
