Excellent Secluded Property!

The driveway entering the property is over a quarter mile long which provided a great secluded stay! There was plenty of space for parking multiple vehicles. The amenities were excellent, basketball court, outdoor fireplace, hot tub, and pool table. The morning and evening views were a plus. The property has a great amount of woods with trails that allowed us to explore through hiking.
The only area of improvement I would say are minor repairs in the inside of the home such as broken cabinet, screen on patio door, refrigerator drawer, flooring buckles, etc.
The property manager was very responsive during our stay which was great in assisting us with any questions we had. That was well appreciated!
This property was just what was needed for a relaxing extended weekend with friends! We would 100% recommend this property to others!

Beautiful property
Publié le 5 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is such a beautiful and peaceful location. My kids enjoyed the games and pool/ping pong table. The adults enjoyed the hot tub, outside fire place and porch. The view is simply amazing. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect Family Friendly Retreat
Publié le 27 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our long weekend in Cadillac! The space and location was ideal for our group that included two families with seven young kids. One floor (vs multiple) with lots of beds to choose from allowed our group to comfortably sprawl out while keeping little ones close. Everything was considerably new. Access to a washer and dryer was very handy! The hot tub was a great perk for entertaining in the still chilly Michigan weather, too!
A few things worth noting…
We did walk into a cleaning issue upon arrival but John, the host, and the cleaning team were prompt and made it right. Some basic items were missing or broken (not many pot holders, few kitchen towels, no foil or plastic bags, a cracked strainer). We made due but it would have been more difficult for a longer stay. Blinds or curtains on the doors to the driveway would be nice for added privacy at night - fortunately there are not any close neighbors so this wasn’t a huge concern. For those with young kids, there is lots of goose poop on the grass (not faulting the owner, this obviously comes with the location, just something to be aware of when letting kids roam outside).

Truly a Special Property

Cadillac Trip
Publié le 25 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat place to get away. We used it as a jumping off point to go skiing and to head to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear. Kids loved playing pool, ping pong and sitting in the hot tub.

Girls weekend away
Publié le 30 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayBeautiful property, easy to locate. Friendly hosts and quiet, distant neighbors. We had a girls weekend with 9 adults. Plenty of room to spread out and a big beautiful kitchen. We cooked, kayaked, enjoyed the hot tub, played games, and used every room of this beautifully decorated home. We will definitely be back!
