Enjoyable stay

The garage, deck, and backyard were fabulous for our arthritic collie.
The accommodations were great for the humans as well.

Dog gone perfect!

Cadiz getaway
Posted Feb. 16, 2024 on HomeAwayThe property was tastefully decorated and immaculate with modern conveniences. The hosts John & Julie obviously take pride in providing a VRBO property in which you can relax and unwind. The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood near Lake Barkley with a large deck and fenced in yard. Our heelers really enjoyed running around the yard and sunning themselves on the deck.
There's plenty to do with the state parks, Lake Barkley, and Kentucky Lake nearby. My wife really enjoyed visiting the shops and the dogs had their noses to the ground at the state park. I had initial anxiety the first night with having intermittent service connection with T-Mobile but found that not receiving texts from work was actually really nice for the days we were there :). It was great to getaway from the cold of Northern IL and to have a chance to unplug and unwind from the daily grind. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a getaway near Cadiz/Lake Barkley.

Thank you! This is an awesome review and covered all the wonderful things to do in the area and our home. Cell service can be an issue near the lake, Verison is the strongest provider. We recommend connecting your phones to our unlimited wifi for future visits. It is very reliable. Or not, if you would like a break from the outside world. :) Come back anytime!
