DREADFUL coach trip hotel - avoid
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HotelsIn a town that has sadly gone down-hill, this hotel and its private client pricing structure leaves a lot to be desired. The Celtic Royal, like Caernarfon, has seen better days... and should price itself accordingly.
I booked a "better" room, and dinner, going by the dexscription and pictures... but I really should have held off the dinner booking.
Pulling into the car park and seeing a small fleet of coaches parked up the alrm bells started.
Horses for courses... and if you are offering a coach party type hotel (and budget) all is good... but not if you are asking other guests to pay over the odds.
It is very suitable for a budget tour hotel... but that's all.
And "dinner"... just sad.
Some investment and it could be lovely... or keep it as tour hotel... but they really should not charge private guests over the odds for shoddy service etc.
Why call it dreadful...because for the money I paid... it was!
From here I went to Llandudno... stayed in a hotel at excactly the same rate for 2 glorious days... Celtic Royal... AVOID... unless your on a coach of course
