Fantastic Cabin
Publié le 20 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat cabin in a great location for exploring North Wales. Garden was beautiful with lots of seating options and securely fenced for the dogs. pleasant surprise when the Pea Hen came to visit, almost daily. would definitely recommend a stay here

The cabin was truly a “Home-Away-From-Home”
Everything you need is at your fingertips
Clean, comfortable and cozy!
Only suggestion I would make is a few signs to guide us in.

Bolt hole in the country
Publié le 20 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayLots of references to hobbits and the cabin was full of quaint. personal items that complimented the 'Bag End' feel to the place. For us, personally, it was not for us. We found the internet TV difficult and frustrating to use (we did ask the owner how to use it), and there were some items in the property that needed attention. A towel rail in the bathroom would have been handy to dry the towels as they were always damp/smelt damp. We did find the cabin chilly at night and early morning, but not cold enough to use the log fire (which we didn't know how to use anyway). The garden is superb with lots of seating to enjoy watching the birds and a wonderful display of plants and flowers to explore. Many previous visitors enjoyed their stay, but unfortunately this was not our cup of tea.

What a shame you didn’t love Bag End as much as we do. Thanks though for the wonderful feedback about the gardens. Apologies that the aerial connection was down for live TV and only Netflix, Prime and catch up TV were available. It’s working fine now.
There are storage heaters, a heater in the bathroom and two portable heaters available as well as the wood burning stove so I’m sorry you were chilly in the morning.
There were instructions on how to use the complementary log burner (just light the packaging and put it in the stove) but, as you mentioned, it wasn’t that cold.
Last, but not least, please understand that Bag End is a wooden cabin in the countryside on the doorstep to some of Wales’ most celebrated and beautiful landscapes. We don’t make any claims to be anything above our station - something we hobbits are very proud of.

Relaxing Getaway
