Très agréable séjour
Publié le 18 mai 2019 sur HomeAwayTrès agréable cottage calme, avec tout ce qu'il faut (hormis LE SEUL problème de douche brûlante avec faible jet) dans un charmant village avec plein d'activités et de promenades, visites à faire tout à coté ou en prenant la voiture.

Beautiful riverside location central to All village amenities.Very easy to find and access. Full of charm and character. Beds cosy and comfy. Very clean. Comms via VBRO/EXPEDIA were poor but direct comms with Derek was excellent and 10/10 responsive. 👌👍
Nice little welcome pack on arrival but would have preferred a proper bottle of wine rather than the alcohol free version provided😳 but that may be just us winos😂
Would definitely look to stay again if in the area and would highly recommend 👏👏👏 though its not suitable for disabled guests due to steep staircase which is typical of such period properties
Would definitely recommend Hebog for dining - outstanding. All pubs within less than 5 min walk and loads to do in local and wider area.
Only one thing ( other than proper wine 😂) could make this accommodation perfect and that would be a hot tub 🛁

Glorious Beddgelert
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cottage was charming, but unfortunately a little tired in its decor. It was perfectly comfortable but in places a little lacking in cleanliness. Please make sure you take some provisions with you ie. Milk and bread, as there is no welcome pack at this cottage, I would have gladly exchanged the bottle of non alcoholic wine for a pint of milk ! There was a couple of packets of biscuits, the type you get in hotel rooms, ,and sachets of coffee,tea etc but frankly the basket should be binned ! and take loo roll as there was only a small amount on the roll when we arrived and no spare. There is no allocated parking for the cottage, there is a small bay for about 4 cars about 50 mtrs from the front door, first come first serve, but we stayed a week and never got the chance to park there, so street parking was required, it’s not a big issue I admit but it is a factor. The village itself is glorious, with ample places to eat,we ate a couple of times at the Prince Llewelyn on the bridge, good food and reasonably priced,also a couple of little gift shops and a little convenience store for essentials but the prices are ridiculously high, tin of HP beans..£1:95 ! I highly recommend walking over the little bridge at the bottom of the lane where the gift shops are and take the walk down along the Aberglaslyn Pass truly beautiful scenery. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Beddgelert, the scenery was spectacular, it was tranquil and we would definitely go back to Snowdonia

Great location for exploring

Lots of cooking utensils, crockery, glasses etc. Great central location in the heart of the village. Parking was no problem using the off road instructions, and a lovely 2 min walk over the river bridge from there. Highly recommend the Hebog bistro to eat. Our only suggestion is that as there’s a small freezer, it could be included in the listing to help with shopping plans on arrival. We ordered an Asda delivery which worked well. Our favourite spot in the cottage was the garden by the river and meeting the resident robin! Thank you for a lovely stay.
