Live in nature.
Publié le 26 févr. 2024 sur HotelsWe loved staying at Scott’s place. Once we got used to the idea of climbing up the mountain as we had no car it was great. Good exercise ! Being in the jungle we got to see sloths, monkeys and to anda up close as well as a number of other birds. Those howler monkeys sound like bear!
Ricardo did a wonderful job of keeping the pool and communal areas clean.
One suggestion which we mentioned to Scott is to add a fridge and coffee maker to the rooms.
Would come back but I’d definitely get a car- which Scott had warned us about.
The local bust was good plus you can easily flag down a ride!
Great place to stay for quiet and nature.
We prefer this to the crowds and noise of Puerto Viejo itself.

A place to return
Publié le 5 avr. 2023 sur HotelsLocated less than 10 minutes from Puerto Viejo which ensures peace and rest but close enough to the action and the beach. Only the entrance to the hotel is an adventure, a road in excellent condition between the mountains that leads to the hotel. From our second floor room we could see the sea and enjoy the sounds of the mountain.
The service is excellent and very personal.
The rooms are spacious, clean and well ventilated. The indoor pool is an afternoon gathering place regardless of the weather.
Ample and safe parking near the rooms.
Within 5 minutes there are restaurants, supermarkets and a gas station for whatever is needed.
In general, a place to return...
