Cool jungle lodge
Publié le 29 mars 2024 sur HotelsThe staff was super responsive and hotel gave an excellent jungle experience. I will say the location was deceptive. The map looks like its in Cahuita when its actually a 45 minute drive away in Punta Uva. Also you must pay for your stay in cash or they will charge an exorbitant credit card fee.

Publié le 5 avr. 2021 sur HotelsThe owners were friendly and readily available when needed. I enjoyed the hammock on the porch. The breakfast (fruit, toast and tea) was really good. The beach is about a 10 minute walk. I enjoyed seeing the wildlife from the porch. There are also chickens, dogs and a cat on the property.
There are 3 cabins spread out on the property that includes a river. The bed was very uncomfortable. One of the pillows didn't have a pillow case. There were lizards crawling everywhere inside the cabin. Thankfully, I don't mind them. There is no hot water and the wifi is absolutely terrible. The river looked super swampy. I love kayaking but felt too uneasy to kayak there. I went to dinner with some friends and arrived back around 10pm. The property was pitch black. No lights for the walking path to the cabin. I had to ask my taxi driver to walk me to my room. Get food before it get dark (6pm) because the road is not safe for walking/biking at night. I love nature but this was a little too much for me.

Thank you for your comment but I don't understand nothing sorry ! You were very happy and at the end you didn't like anything and made remarks that have nothing to do with our establishment. You are talking about lizards in the bedroom, I absolutely dont see how we can control lizards knowing you are leaving your door open!
You talk about the light in the garden, we turn off at 11 p.m. Costa Rica restriction time. A pillow cover was missing this is an oversight and we are sorry, but I don't understand, we came to see you very regularly and at no time did you ask us for anything !!! you are talking about the river, we are coming out of the rainy period and it had just rained 3 consecutive days, so it is normal that the river is high, I do not see how your remark is constructive! You speak without knowing in fact! the dangerous road for bikes, indeed in the middle of Holy Week, that can be dangerous. There is a week to avoid in Costa Rica, it is holy week and you have decided to travel during that week !!! There is hot water and I explained to you how it worked, if you had listened I think you could have showered with hot water! You were delighted with your stay but your comment does not reflect your stay! I forgot to bounce back on certain points but I think that it is useless indee!
I really do not understand the customers who leave delighted and who when writing a comment, let go and make remarks just to put a bad opinion! You were happy and didn't make any remark to us and now you hardly like anything about your stay and above all you comment on things which in no way concern our establishment !! We were there during all your stay for that and you don't tell nothing...

Si es para poner esta nota seria bueno de dar su nombre !!! Para poder hablar de su estancia mejor !! Es un poco fácil de hacer eso sin justificar !! Solo para dañar a la gente!

This place is perfect for the people who like the jungle. It’s quiet at night and the bungalows are rustics but quite comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there. The host are very kind.
