Fantastic Holiday
Publié le 16 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at Kewarra Beach for 10 days in early October 2024, and it was one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. The location is incredible—just a 50-meter walk to stunning views of Double Island and Taylor’s Point. Morning strolls were a dream, especially with the added treat of grabbing a coffee from the Toasted Goat coffee van.
Jessie, the host, was absolutely charming and made us feel completely at home. We even had the pleasure of meeting some of her fabulous friends, which added a warm, personal touch to our stay. Be sure to ask her for tips on pretty much everything—she knows every restaurant and walking trail in the region!
Late afternoons were spent relaxing in the solar-heated pool with a couple of drinks. There’s a Dan Murphy’s at Smithfield Shopping Centre on the way from the airport, and a bottle shop at the local shopping centre for added convenience. The kitchen is beautifully equipped, and the outdoor barbecue made it easy to cook up some incredible meat from Clifton Beach Butcher, just a 5-minute drive away at Clifton Village Shopping Centre.
For those who enjoy walking, the property is conveniently located about a 25-minute walk to both Palm Cove and Trinity Beach. The surrounding area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of trails and scenic routes to explore.
We also loved dining out at local gems like Il Chiosco and L’Unico Trattoria Italiano at Trinity Beach. It’s unbelievable to think there are two great Italian restaurants within 400 meters

Lovely Home by the Sea

Nothing was too much trouble & halfway through our holiday he supplied us with fresh linen & towels which we greatly appreciated. When you arrive at a location for the first time you need a friendly contact & Gary was that calm & reassuring person that we all warmed to. Thank you Gary for all your assistance. Regarding the accommodation, the house was very comfortable & the location was perfect, but where was the kitchen? The kitchen is the heart of the house, but here we only had the use of an outside bbq area. Yes, we had to go outside the house, through the courtyard into this area which was a poor excuse for a kitchen. There was NO Dishwasher & NO Oven. The was a hotchpotch of cutlery & glassware. There is no respect whatsoever shown to us, who pay high rentals, to be given this type of accommodation. There were several cupboards & rooms locked up for the owners use & so was the kitchen all behind closed doors. We were very disappointed with this arrangement as if we needed a hot drink in the night, we had to go outside to get it. In conclusion, I plead with the owner to please install a suitable kitchen to her lovely home by the sea.

Excellent house, great location

We got up every morning and walked along the beach. Then we came back and enjoyed our coffee sitting by the pool. We could not have found a better place to stay. The owner was welcoming and provided excellent service. He quickly answered our questions and responded to our needs. Without a doubt one of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed at.

Loved the tranquillity of the garden and also being so close to the beach. Absolute beach front it is! Thank you to the hosts for allowing us to enjoy such a lovely place 😊

Not much privacy with owners staying there, poor communication from property manger as they didn’t return our call
