Publié le 27 juill. 2024 sur HotelsCalled to ask if we could store our luggage until checkin time was asked how we booked then told off for not booking direct and via a third party amongst other complaints about not booking direct with them then told too busy and nowhere to store luggage despite website stating can store luggage. Not off to a great start!
Arrived at 1.45pm, reception unattended, rang the number was told he’d come but would be 15min away and room not ready til 2.30pm as they’ve been very busy and room was still being cleaned as previous occupants messy. This time though they stored our luggage in our room.
Two bedroom apartment with kitchen - floors were clean, stains on both couches, paint peeling from ceiling in bedroom (see photo) kitchen benches still dirty, cooktop burnt, bare minimum with crockery and cooking utensils. Bathroom ok (if you’re ok with shower curtains!) blinds faulty and didn’t close properly in lounge.
Beds soft, pillows were thin and ineffective.
Has a small pool, we didn’t use it.
Parking spaces available for car if needed, gate closed overnight so secure.
Location: close to esplanade but a decent walk to get to shops and cafes

thansk for review, to begin with you came unannounced early in the day when we werent expecting you and we were out and was a very busy day, not expecting anyone to store luggage unarranged.the state previous guests leave rooms in is beyond our control unfortunately and can extend the checkin time beyond 2pm. yes this unit has issues with the ceiling paint for some reason, quotes have been obtained awaiting owner approval to go ahead.new curtains have been ordered this week for the WHOLE complex and will take a couple of months to be manufactured and installed. we know about this issue.a new stove top inthis unit was actually installed yesterday.this is one of the worst units you stayed in and why we are pushing the owner to get work done, rest are far better.awaiting replacement of louge sofas as well for this unit. we are aware of everything you mentioned and working with the unit owner to fix them all up.as for pillows and beds, the queen bed is relatively new 4k bed medium firmness mattress, everyone is to their own on beds and pillows, some poeple like hard beds, some people like soft beds, some people like thin pillows some people like thick pillows, cant make everyone happy and to try and do it we would go insane in regards to bedding so we have to meet in the middle.

It was a place to sleep, the beds had clean sheets, there was a safe parking spot for the car. As for the rest, the place is really run down, When we came in 1st time I had to sweep the floors and got rid of a heap of dust and dirt, there was a half empty coke can at the entrance, the floors had some sticky substance which we washed off. There was not a single clean plate, glass, cup etc. Had to was all the cutlery before use, not enough plates/cutlery/utensils to serve even 3 people. The place had a really bad smell, we had to buy deodorants to get it to an ok level. Shower curtain was filthy, all the walls looks like they haven’t been painted since the place was built, some of the ceilings look like it could either be filthy/ have water stains, kitchen counter is burnt and needs replacement, pots and pans need to be replaced, tiles cracked throughout the place, blinds need to be replaced. Hood top was disgustingly dirty. Doors and walls had heaps of gapes, scrapes, screw holes. Walls next to table had some yellow liquid spill never cleaned off. Brown substance (probably poop) on the wall behind the toilet paper roll on wall. Tumble dryer only works on 1 setting, wifi was patchy.

予定通りチェックインしようとしたが、レセプションに誰もいなく、電話したら部屋が無いとの事。話になりませんでした。

reason being?? no reason, cant fault it then. if you cant provide a reason this is a fake review. nothing wrong with room that we are aware of, last person in this room gave 10/10.

The property had a pool and was close to the waterfront.

Great place. Very close to hospital cafes tavern airport. Kitchen too.
