Good location to Cairns centre and has a good pool area and restaurant however if I stayed again I would request a room on the southern side of the property as we had noisy nights due to the property across from us to the north

Hotel appears to have had a recent refurb though it feels a bit cheap, like a Bali hotel. Room was big and comfortable, buffet breakfast was pretty solid.

Best location. All major shopping areas were in walking distance, room is always cleaned every day, love the beds and love the staff.

The Benson was excellent. Conditions were perfect and my room was clean and very comfortable.
It’s in a great location making it easy to walk to the shopping centre, pier and esplanade.
Staff were friendly and efficient. I’d definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

It's renovated and rooms are nice. Spacious queen-sized beds and clean looking bathroom. Unfortunately, opposite side is a backpacker and nightclub, so it'll be noisy especially on the weekend plus, some drunk people come and go. Recommend for young people but not for family nor older people who love quiet environment.

Great location but noise level late at night was unacceptable. There were a bunch of rowdy hooligans with kids hanging around the corridor late into the night. I doubt they were paying guests at the hotel but how they got up there is a concern
