We were three families with kids (children ages 8-17) staying in separate apartments. The pool was nice, and the staff was friendly. However, you would definitely need a car if you're staying here. There's no bar or restaurant, there's not even a vending machine to purchase a drink or a snack. It's NOT a five-minute walk down to the nearest shop, despite what anyone tells you (especially not in the heat with kids). The apartments feel quite remote and apart from some DVD's and board games, there's really not much for kids to do or explore in the evening.
Also, could have been the time of the year (Jan) but despite the aircon being on 24/7, there was a lingering musty/mildewy smell in the bedroom/bed, plus one of the aircon's kept leaking quite a lot of water. The surrounding area was very quiet, almost like a sleepy seaside resort for retirees, so if that's your thing - then this is the place for you. If not, I would not recommend.

The pool was very handy for Mornings/

Nothing special about the property one of the fans in the room didn't work and the amenities weren't that great. Hand n body lotion jars were empty

The outlook from the balcony is priceless.
The room is extremely tired, the bed was unbelievably uncomfortable and we had to sleep on the lounge instead? There was no fly screens on any windows so we couldn’t keep them open?
This was a special 60th birthday surprise and let itself down big time.
This cost me a small fortune to boot….

Definitely not “sebel” standard. Rooms are a great size but are dated, and had better days. Seems to be “quick” cleaned as there was alot of dirt/dust/rubbish jammed down areas such as the washing machine. Our sink leaked- attempted to contact reception on 4 occasions and no one got back to us. No cafe etc on site so byo food unless you plan to eat out the entire time
