Recommended in Calella.
I had an excellent beach front facing room with balcony. Room was somewhat tired and dated, particularly the bathroom. Food was tasty enough, although it was basic with limited choice. The location was great for the beach and the town centre. Staff were very friendly. This is a very affordable hotel and we had an enjoyable stay. I recommend it highly if you are on a budget

Everything about the hotel was perfect. However due to delayed flights we did not arrive until 10.30p.m., andfinding a nearby parking place was quite a challenge.

I was somewhat apprehensive, even though the reviews were positive. I can now add my own positivities as great! “No frills or spills” but just right. So close to all amenities, but most importantly the beach. Am already looking at dates to return.

A fair review
Lovely staff, the food at buffet was not warm enough in general although generally a decent varied choice was on offer. Drinks in restaurant were fairly priced. Poor quality / poorly fitted blinds in junior suite meant far too much light entered room early in the morning. Black out blinds would be a better solution. The bed was not very comfortable. Location was excellent. The junior suite patio was fantastic. Aircon in room helped keep us cool. Was a decent break all in all, probably wouldnt return due to poor sleep quality caused by poor bed and blinds.

A great place to stay in Calella.
Four day trip to Calella. Hotel handy for the town and beach. Lovely frontal room with a sea view. Food basic but satisfactory. Excellent value. Recommended.

We booked a room with a balcony and lovely sea view, but we could not sit on the balcony because when opened the balcony door, insects would immediately enter the room. We went inside and shut the balcony doors, but later we saw that there were hundreds of small insects on the ceiling. It was late, but the staff gave us a new room. In the new room, there were also insects, but not as many. We asked to change rooms again, but nothing was available. The staff handed us a can of insect repellent, telling us we could spray the room. At check-out we expressed our dissatisfaction. The receptionist was rude and never apologized . He told us to call Expedia if we had a complaint. We won´t return to this hotel.

The hotel was lovely but our room was a little cramped, the bed ended about 6 inches from the wall. Otherwise it was well kept, staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good too

Good quality at low prices
The hotel is really well situated across the road (train tracks) to the beach. The staff are very friendly and the hotel itself is lovely. My only negative point is that the water pressure in the shower is very poor. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely visit again if I was in the area

Staff was very very nice! Food was super, for example great paella for a lunch, a lot of fishes, etc. Hotel is very near to beach and centre. For this good cheap price is I think the best you can get.

Not for me!
Main negative issue for me was the poor sound insulation between rooms. Others include, lumpy pillows, WiFi didn't reach bedroom on 3rd floor and no free drinking water at breakfast or dinner. On a positive note, good location for beach and clean facilities.

Very disappointed!
Shocking would NEVER go back. They treat their guests terribly including shouting and belittling them in front of all the other guest's. Would give 2 out of 10 for the food. Rooms basic but noisy in evenings with a drilling noise late at night. Wifi only works in limited areas around reception. You are charged extra for safe keys and data in your room. If you want to watch TV which only has one E English channel, you will have to pay a deposit of 20€. You are also expected to clean up after your meals and don't ask anyone how things work in the self service restaurant as you get ignored or shouted at. Would rather pay extra and be treated with respect ,as a paying client should.

Almost faultless
The room was spotless and quiet and I really couldn’t fault it. The only gripe I could have with this hotel is there were no vegetarian foods available at lunch or dinner. I accept that’s my ‘awkwardness’ and can honestly say that if you were a meat eater, it was practically perfect.

Pleasant hotel in Calella.
Good location near beach. Close walk to town. Nice room with balcony. Free wifi in public area but very slooow. 15 min free wifi in room every 24 hours but you can pay. Food adequate but uninspiring. Overall, very pleased for the price paid. Will stay again.
