My partner and I enjoyed the swim area on the roof and the smoke area. We loved the breakfast that was included. We were well accommodated. The hotel is beautiful, very well represented, very demure.

When I booked the Applause Hotel I felt like I was taking a chance because the modern rooms, made to order breakfast voucher, location to the airport and shuttle to the airport were too good to be true for the price. Boy was I excited to see that it was all as advertised. Happy hour prices would rival any lounge was an added bonus. Put this place top on your list to book.

I called for the free 24 hour shuttle but reception would not pick up. I let the phone ring for a solid 5 minutes and it seemed as though my call would be picked up and transferred back to ringing status. We took a taxi to the hotel and discovered that the clerk was busy but would let the phone continue to ring incessantly never picking up or putting customers on hold. I mentioned to the clerk we were unable to reach him for shuttle service and asked if he would discount our room the price of our cab fair. He stated they did not do that and dismissed my complaint. I left him the can receipt and asked for the manager to consider our request in the morning. Upon check out the next morning the new clerk said there were no notes on our file and she couldn’t do anything either as our room was prepaid over Expedia. The hotel itself was great. I’d like to return. Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very nice. I’d call earlier in the day to arrange our shuttle well in advance next time. Reception staff need proper training in multi tasking and optimally using their phone system.

Check in was slow but friendly. The rooms are clean and stylish but they have a bit too much spray/Febreeze for a person with asthma. The windows don't open but the A/C is good.

What a pleasant surprise compared to similar $ range hotels near the airport. The lobby, the room ambience, the staff, the location near airport, everything was so great. Free Beverage coupons at the bar and the included cooked to order breakfast was so great. Sad that we could only stay for a single night because of airport connection. We would love to come back and explore more amenities and surroundings. A small TV in the bathroom was a bonus in addition to all that you would expect. The room interior was upbeat and modern, techy with ambient lighting under the bed. The coffee station, water bottles, good set of toiletries. Everything was top notch!

Overall good stay but the hot tub / outside rooftop bar area was a let down. For a hotel of that size the hot tub was tiny, barely warm and not very clean. The shower door in our room would not close properly and had to be held closed or the floor would be a swamp. Would stay again tho.
