My sincere apologies for my typo on my new phone#. It was corrected on our Business card provided upon your Arrival....our door's electronic code worked perfectly. Batteries had recenyly been replaced. Had you viewed the detailed photo's included on the Vrbo website, pyou would have had no reason to complain regarding the semi private access door or the type of venetian shades on our bedroom windows ( 1st negative comment regarding our suite in over 8 years. The keyless lock was THOROUGHLY tested and was found after 9 attempts to fail, it was flawless. The outdoor temperature evenings of your stay was 12*C the13th, and 14*C the 14th!! 28*C downstairs those dates OR ANY OTHER NIGHT is not only improbable, but impossible! Your accusition of My young wife and I "hovering like grandparents" is certainly a figment of your imagination!! We are host and hostess of a public Inn offering very knowledgeable assistance to travellers, (U.S.A.) in your case. I personally have been very Familiar with Calgary & Alberta highlights. I was born here in 1947!! My services being offered to EVERY GUEST are in fact free and appreciated by 99% of our Guests. Your comment that we were " Micro managing your Family was another ridiculous exaggeration. WE HAD NO MORE THAN 5 opportunities where we even had the opportunity to converse with ANY OF YOU! As a habit we offer all of our guests off street parking. Your 1st day I approached your son as he was going to drive away and offered him off street parking in my drive way. Courtesy! Thats all.!! Why would you costrue my action any other way?? You speak of My "RUDENESS". You have absolutely NO REASON to call me Rude!! None! Even if your ignorant departure deserved it.... we both were pleasant and sincere when we wished you and your Family " safe travel back to Montana"! Dave Rose

Sadly many of our guests don't care enough to follow our Pre-arrival guideline and very complete introduction to everything a guest SHOULD read prior to booking at our Inn. There is no reason to mention "surprises: in ANYTHING TO DO WITH OUR 5 STAR accomodation...it is ALL mentioned in our Welcome letter sent out to EVERY GUEST.
