Wonderful Apartment!
Publié le 28 août 2023 sur HomeAwayOur stay was very enjoyable! The apartment was perfect for the three of us. The apartment was clean, setup well. It was great having laundry facilities right in the apartment. I’d recommend asking for an additional air conditioner in hotter weather. (We had one so it wasn’t an issue). Any questions we had, Simon was able to provide a quick response and solution. One member of the family was in a wheelchair, even though the listing didn’t specifically say wheelchair accessible, the apartment was easy to get around, however the bathrooms were small for this person. We knew this going in, and made arrangements throughout our stay for alternatives! Perfect for what we needed! Highly recommended place!!

Great place to stay
Publié le 1 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe condo is in a great location, extremely close to basically everything you would need. There’s a park and splash park super close by. The underground parking was nice, covered deck was great, extremely quiet place. We hardly heard any noise the entire time we stayed. Simon was extremely fast at replying, and helpful. Check in/out was super simple. There were a few areas in the condo that could have used a deeper clean, but nothing too major. Some extra bedding would be nice as there was only a thin blanket on the master bed, and a thin comforter on the other bed, and no bedding for the couch. We did have our own extra blankets and pillows though so it wasn’t a big deal for us, but might be for others.
Our one issue was how hot the condo was. The first night we stayed, it was +34c outside and I wouldn’t be surprised if the condo was hotter than that. There were 3 fans provided, but they didn’t come close to cooling you off. The next morning, I messaged Simon and told him it was way too hot, he replied right away and by that evening he had brought over a portable air conditioner and installed it in the master bedroom. It helped a ton in the bedroom. However, the rest of the apartment and the other bedroom still stayed fairly warm. It was bearable but still hot. Possibly having a portable air conditioner in both bedrooms would help keep the place cooler.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again next time we come to Calgary!

However we did find some issues with the unit we stayed in. The vent in the master bathroom did not work. There was feces on the wall in the master bathroom. For the time of year the unit needs some sort of cooling, we were uncomfortable most of the time. The carpet definitely needs cleaning & there was food on the floor. Limited kitchen supplies as well & no bbq tools.
Who ever was supposed to clean for Simon did a poor job.

It is worth noting you were allowed early check in and late check out at no cost. The early check in reduced the time to conduct the deep cleaning it's always performed. It's also clear on the property description that it does not have AC, but fans.

Great value

Great for a small family
Publié le 28 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayNice apartment, would be great for a young family, but not sufficient for more than 2 adults. We booked for 5 adults and found it a struggle to fit. Also check out time was earlier than in the ad.

Publié le 15 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwaySmelled musty, carpet had stains all over, towel rack was broken, fridge buzzed so loud it was difficult to sleep. We originally had 10 days booked and could only stay 2 nights due to the noise of the fridge. Roku kept cutting out and resetting. It would have been nice if a small amount of dishwasher detergent was provided. I wouldn't rent again and would not recommend. Unit is way over priced for a low income apartment building and location. We were only refunded 3 nights and way over paid.

Erin complained about the fridge noise, after three days of her stay. I offered to send a technician right away and she refused which leads me to believe she found a cheaper stay and wanted a full refund. I provided the partial refund according to VRBO policies. I would not host or recommend this guest. All the amenities and condo details were as described.
