As described...just not for us.
Publié le 31 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayI originally booked this for our family of 6. Due to kids schedules only one parent and one child stayed. The listing describes that it's connected like a duplex but we didn't expect to hear so much. It felt a little uncomfortable, like we were invading their privacy. Also it made us worry about being too loud for them, I would have been really anxious if we had all gone because our little kids are NOT quiet.There is no control of the AC and it was freezing!! We didn't reach out and ask for them to change the temperature but the hosts were very kind when we did reach out (even let us know we left something behind and helped us get it back) so I'm sure they would have honored the request. We just felt bad asking. This is why I say it's not the set up for us. The location to Franklin ball fields was excellent.

Nice hideaway in the country
Publié le 22 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayWe were in town for a weekend gathering. Better than a hotel with plenty of room for the 4 of us (3 adults and a teenager). Everything we needed was provided. Prompt communication. Will stay again when in the area.

Publié le 16 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe were in town for my son's wedding. We rented Lori's place for 2 nights, it was GREAT and Lori is an AWESOME host! It didn't feel like a rental, we felt at home. Nice and cozy, with everything we needed, Lori even had snacks and water for us! We had a hiccup (always with weddings..right!!) Lori helped us our so much. We CAN'T thank her ENOUGH! You don't often find ppl like Lori willing to help strangers just because, the beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Sitting on the big porch was so relaxing, nice cold a/c inside that is an extra plus for Texas weather! Rent Lori's place you won't be disappointed!!

I grew up on a farm and loved the farm house feel of this place. Lori, the host, and her husband were very nice. I would absolutely recommend staying at Cow Creek and will absolutely be rebooking in the fall when I come back.

Just what we needed
Publié le 20 févr. 2022 sur HomeAwayWonderful bedrooms. No sink in the kitchen and the bathroom is in the back of one of the bedrooms. I had to walk through where my mom and her caretaker were sleeping to use the restroom. But everything else was perfectly fine. Loved the location And lori was very helpful.

Thanks for your review is is important that guest know these things. No sink or oven in kitchenette is in my description and bath is shared with you and your guest. We hope you had a nice stay and visit with family.
