Une charmante adresse

Nous avons fait une halte de deux jours à Cambria dans notre roadtrip entre big sur et santa Barbara et c était un excellent choix. Ce Bed&breakfast est vraiment super! Les chambres sont très cosy, propres et tout est fait pour que vous passiez un agréable moment. Le premier soir, vous êtes invités à une dégustation de vins de la région avec des petites choses, choisies avec soin, à grignoter. L occasion de rencontrer les autres hôtes. Nous avons adoré ce moment. Le matin, un petit déjeuner fait maison vous attend. Simplement excellent. La maison est située à 5/10 min de la mer en voiture.en résumé je vous recommande cet endroit sans hésitation.

Quiet and comfortable. Had stayed here a few years ago. Downside now is the ‘contactless’ experience which takes away from the B&B aspect of it and makes it more of a hotel. You never see or talk to any staff. No breakfast offered and served in a dining area. You get something dropped off at your room to eat in your room or you can take it to a dining area. In our previous stay there was opportunity to interact with staff and guests. Only contact with staff was through text messages which was so impersonal. If you are just looking for a room and somewhere quiet - away from town - this is a good option. Not a true B&B experience.

Hi Cynthia, we're happy to hear you enjoyed our quiet and comfortable Inn! Guests also have access to all amenities to Cambria Pine Lodge (our sister property across the street) and that location is a great spot if you're looking to interact with more people during your stay.

I think if I were looking for a quiet stay, JPH would be my choice. The room was quaint and lovely but felt slightly cramped because the bed was a king and it was jam packed with stuff (all necessary). It’s a basically a house converted so you had to be super quiet as not to bother others. The walls were thin and there was snoring that happened during the night that I could hear. The mid afternoon chocolate cookies were nice. They also drop off breakfast, which is great, but the menu is the same each day and you can’t alter it in anyway. One or 2 mornings of quiche is nice but not 4 mornings. The basket they drop off the food is cute, but the basket was dusty and had stains and could probably use a good washing. You can’t really walk anywhere. You need to drive if you want to get to the restaurants, shops or beach. All in all, it was a quiet stay and I enjoyed it, but I usually stay on Moonstone Drive where all I need are my tennis shoes (and not my car) to get to the beach; I was feeling adventurous and thought I would try something new. I will probably book on the beach next time as I love Moonstone Beach and easy access to the beach footpath is so nice.

Great little place to stay while visiting Cambria. Possible to take the steps from the neighboring hotel garden into the town. We liked the breakfast basket that was dropped off at our door each morning and the warm cookies that met us at check-in.

The property is nice, clean and well maintained. However all the service is now ‘touch less’ and there is no in person interaction. For breakfast, I inquired if I can make selections and was told it was all preset and would be delivered to the room. The breakfast had a lot of pork(which we don’t eat) and there was no option provided by to request alternatives. What used to make this property pleasant was the service and the interactions with the staff and guests in the shared areas, that unfortunately is all gone.

Cute and cozy

The Inn was cute and cozy. Our room was comfortable and the fireplace added to the ambiance. It was a nice place to spend a romantic weekend away.
