Gleason's chouse
Publié le 3 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe rental was advertised as a "chouse." I didn't know what a chouse was other than a former church. The photos understated the property. To me, it really was a wonderful combination of historical church, updated into modern living room/kitchen/bedrooms and museum.

Awesome place to stay!
Publié le 2 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved the unique Chouse. Every inch was decorated lovingly with antiques. Connie and Jim made us feel very welcomed; they even had a birthday card waiting for my daughter. We really had a special time together celebrating my daughter’s birthday weekend.

I love that the owners kept some items to reflect the building's former life as a church but still made it completely homey at the same time. They were very quick to reply to any questions we had. Upon arrival we were greeted with a nice welcome note and some snacks. They made sure the house was stocked with everything we may have needed. The area was super quiet and made for a great weekend. We were there for a graduation in the Fond du lac area and this was only about a 20 minute drive to the town and university campus. I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Amazing property!

It is beautifully remodeled and appointed with all things necessary for a comfortable stay, and it was spotless. The historical nature of the property and the decor are added bonuses! It was quiet and peaceful--we hated to leave, and we hope to stay again some day!
