Old Mansion Feel
Publié le 11 sept. 2024 sur HotelsVery nice, located a bit out of town but great views across the water. Like staying in a large, older mansion, not a hotel. Booked one room, but had no idea it featured three beds separated by (doorless) rooms, so it would be good for a larger party. Breakfast provided was a nice bonus as well, especially after a somewhat pricey dinner the evening before.

We had a 2 night stsy at Craigard house. It is in a lovely position overlooking the sea with
the hills behind. Our room was on the side and had a partial sea view. The lady that checked us in was friendly but wasn't really forthcoming with info and we had to ask her questions about where to go for breakfast and about the front door etc. Our room was a good size and clean and the bed was comfy. The bathroom appeared to be recently updated and was lovely. The water pressure was low in the shower. The general areas around the hotel were a little dated and some areas were a quite dark. Good breakfast options and although they did get my order wrong on both dsys, it still tasted good.
