Nice quiet vacation spot

Nice getaway

Great Location near Red River Gorge
Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family of 5 enjoyed our stay here. The location was great and we really enjoyed the use of the canoe and fished off the dock every day. It was nice having a covered porch to sit out on during the rainy days. Communication with the owner was fast when we had a question.
The only complaint was that cleanliness could have been a bit better. Small things like cleaning off the toothpaste on the walls in the bathroom, sweeping behind the beds in the loft area, and giving the small appliances a good wipe down would make this place 5 stars.
Our family would still stay here again because the location is excellent and we loved having a little spot on the water.

Great place - rude host
Publié le 25 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe place was beautiful and very clean! My family had a great time. However every time I had to communicate with the host he was very rude. I asked for the address a final time before leaving and he got angry stating if he’s already sent it once why send it again. The host could not find the Roku remote after we left (what we do with a Roku remote??) and he was EXTREMELY rude.

NOT OFTEN AT MY Cabin since it stays rented. Did go on day of this renter departure to install igniter on Weber grill. Could not find Roku remote. Called renter with no response. Had another renter arriving next day. I had no option but to make 70 round trip drive to Jackson to purchase another Roku. Yes, I was upset and remote has not been found. I could charge renter for the new Roku and gas expense, but I have not. Was pleased they had a great time and th cabin was clean.

Perfect spot in Red River Gorge!
Publié le 18 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayTook our niece and her 7 and 16 year old kiddos. Spent some time in the lake, fishing and canoeing. The 7 year old great nephew enjoyed catching (and releasing) three fish! This was the perfect get away and in a great location for ziplining, the underground kayak tour and numerous hiking trails. Can't recommend it enough!

Waterfront Cabin

Located close to a bunch of awesome adventures and good food. My family enjoyed being able to enjoy the local sights and having a place close to relax at the end of the day. There are several cabins in the area but still has the feel of being secluded in the woods.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION
Publié le 30 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThere is nothing more relaxing than water and a deck to relax on to enjoy the view. We were able to get to some spectacular parks in a reasonable amount of time. During the week is best, unless you enjoy crazy weekend youth. Still was wonderful.

Great place to stay!
Publié le 11 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved staying here. The cabin was perfect. We put the boys upstairs and they had their own space while we took the downstairs room. The pond kept the boys busy with fishing and kayaking. They caught a ton of fish! The decks are great even when it rained since they are covered. I would highly recommend staying here!
