Clean and comfortable stay

This home is kept impeccably clean and the hosts were very responsive and kind. The lake is literally just across the yard. Very quiet neighborhood. We had a relaxing stay and recommend trying Flo's diner down the road for breakfast.relastay.We recommend

My 3 kids and I had an absolutely wonderful stay, the house was clean & comfortable. The lake frontage was unbelievably beautiful. The host was very friendly, and responsive. 5 stars :)

Oneida Lake getaway

We had a wonderful time joining family and staying in this cozy home for a few days. Prior to check-in, the owner gave us more specific, helpful directions as to the exact location. Walking distance to the lake, firepit available for use near shore, chairs to use outside, and a porch with outside seating was very handy. We had plans within Syracuse for one day and stayed at the house another. Plenty of games available. We will definitely consider staying here again. Small suggestions to improve an already awesome place: A book/journal for people to add comments of where from, area attractions, etc. Perhaps a check-out book for people to know exactly what to do before leaving would be great (temp to set thermostat at, leave laundry in hamper or place in washer, etc.)? Overall, we had a blast and loved this home.

A Lovely Getaway Place

Decor was everything you would ever want We slept like logs......excellent beds and bedding. Furniture was comfortable and appropriate. We found that all of the autumn decorations made the house comfortable and it felt homey. The walk from the driveway to the front door was treacherous for 2 of the 4 80 year-old adults. The steps were hard to negotiate. Needs handrail that is not covered with bush branches. Glad that we went there!

Lake Vacation

Excellent place to vacation. Owners met us at the property the next day to see if everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. Great Host. Beautiful lake and fishing opportunities. Highly recommended.

Golfing at Roques Roost

The location was very convenient to the golf course we were playing at - Roques Roost Golf Course (West). The views of the lake were lovely and the place provided plenty of room. Our host (Rachel) was very responsive to our queries and made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to stay in this area around Oneida Lake.

Lake Vibes only

Our time here was the perfect balance of relaxation and fun. Rachel was a very responsive host and the house was immaculately clean. There is so much to do in this area. We went to visit the Farmers Market and checked out Classic Cruise Night. We rented a pontoon boat through The Cove/Sylvan Supply and also journeyed through Verona State Park. We also went to the Wild Animal Park which was great family fun. We ate at the Farmhouse, Eddies, Shorebreak Banery and Oneida Lake Brewhaus. We enjoyed all of them.The great thing about this area is you can do as much or as little as you'd like.We loved just hanging out at the house and on the porch. The kitchen has everything you need to stay in and cook if you don't want to venture out. Our dogs loved the large grassy yard and launching themselves off the dock into the lake. willbbbackback.

Relaxing lake house

We had a relaxing time at the lake, we stayed for a long weekend. The house was clean, which I really appreciated since my young kids were rolling all over the floors. The beds were comfortable and the a/c units were clean and worked great. The only thing I would recommend is a lamp in the main room, it was quite dark at night to read, also a few items in the kitchen, like some mixing bowls and measuring spoons, other than that it was perfect! Thank you!

Great location!!!

My husband and two daughters had a great stay at Rachel’s house. It’s right on the lake, we sat on the deck each night. Comfy beds and sofas. We lucked out with weather and were able to go fishing, kayaking, rent jet skis, hike and swim at the beach. Check out Green Lake if you can and the Chittenago Falls, both places are beautiful and about 15 minute's from the house.

Wonderful Lake House

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this lake house. The host was always available to answer any questions and was nearby. The house was stocked full of amenities (including air conditioning) and was accurate as pictured in the listing. We enjoyed all the games that were left for us to play as well! The listing makes it seem like it's a longer walk to the lake than it really is. They have a great big level yard (with an amazing view) and it wasn't a far walk at all. Thanks for letting us rent out your home and hope to stay there again next time we are in town.

Family reunion stay

We stayed at this rental with our boys and their girlfriends for a family reunion that was being held close by. It was so convenient and nice to have such a clean and comfortable place to come back to at night. We hung out on the deck at night in the comfortable patio furniture and watched the water. I also appreciated the well equipped kitchen as I made some dishes to take to the reunion. Fridge and coffee makers were used too. Beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms made it nice. The ac was also appreciated. Thanks for a great visit.

Hidden gem

The house is so lovely, and if you know anything about the area, the house is in the perfect location. It is close to Sylvan Beach and also tucked away on the water with peace and quiet. We are so glad to have found it, and will likely be back!

Quiet cottage with a great view

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is small & no frills inside, but the view from the front deck is wonderful. It’s also in a quiet area at the end of the road. It’s a great place to relax.
