Stayed in a 2 bed apartment- couple of issues. None of the TVs would work with chromecast. We just wanted to have a quiet night in and while reception staff came to assist, it was determined it was an issue with the TVs. The TVs also randomly turn on after you have turned them off. Rather annoying in the middle of the night. The ensuite bathroom was not particularly clean, some very suspicious marks on the wall tiles next to the toilet, and shower floor was not great. Staff were helpful, parking was easy, facilities otherwise good. 2.5/5 stars, for the $ I probably wouldn’t stay again to be honest.

Clean and spacious stay but you can hear activity all around the apartment which is the only downside.

I booked a one bedroom apartment but was upgraded to a two bedroom apartment in the Macquarie St complex. Really nice apartment, spacious, clean, modern, good amenities, comfortable bed, good shower, pretty much every thing else was good. Easy access to the building and apartment. Neighbourhood was very good. Pretty easy walk to shops and lots of restaurant choices in Kingston and Manuka and the complex itself, as well as many key sights around Canberra, including the lake, galleries and Parliament House. Many other facilities in the hotel complex, including a nice rooftop bar. Only a few minor grumbles if looking for them, for example towels a little on the thinner side, couch not real comfy, wireless internet was unusable every morning even though it was good at night (so maybe to do with the school over the road coming online taking the bandwidth, not sure about hotel wifi itself as I didn’t connect to that), TV in main room wouldn’t turn off, had to kill it at the power point, some minor maintenance issues. Parking arrangements confusing, I think I got four different stories about whether or not I had to pay for parking, ultimately I didn’t, but I thought I was going to have to. Overall I was very happy with my stay at the Burbury and would happily stay in the complex again.
