Needs a deep clean, but nice on the surface
Publié le 26 mai 2023 sur HotelsLoved the location, easy to walk to restaurants and shops. The unit itself is nice, but needs a deep clean and some easy maintenance.
I found shoes left from the last guest under the table. The dishes/glasses were not totally clean so I felt like I had to wash everything before using. One of the tiles in the kitchen was lose, but a rug had been placed over it. The laundry bi-fold door had pieces of lining hanging from it when you opened the door.
Overall, it was nice, but had to give it a 3 star rating since the upkeep is pretty bad.

It’s a nice and clean apartment, in a new 7-story building. The gym in the building is actually quite nice. I also liked the location. It was an overall a pleasant stay. The only issue I had with this property is on the first day when: 1) I could not access the parking garage due to incorrect instructions/garage key left for pick up. That took 1.5 hours to be resolved. 2) the bed sheet had stains, although the rest of the bedding was crispy clean. 3) some basic amenities one would expect from serviced appartments were missing or not checked before next guests’ arrival, e.g., there were no frying pans to make hot breakfasts in the mornings, the dish soap bottle was completely empty.

Hi, we are sorry your experience was not great. The apartments are indeed very nice. Unfortunately we are not always aware if utensils such as a frying pan is missing - we have of course replaced, now that we have been made aware. Carparking in apartments is often tricky first time in, however we have reviewed and improved the instructions given that we have received a comment. Our linen providers are usually exceptional, so hearing of clean sheets provided with a stain/s is not great. Thankfully a rare occurrence, however we have noted this with the linen providers. All dishwashing and laundry liquids/powders are provided in single use satchels. It seems a previous guest may have left a bottle so we have had it removed and ensured plenty of stock in the apartments. We do thank you, as we can not improve and remedy these situations when they do occur. Appreciate you pointing them out, enabling us to ensure we always have measures for continuous improvements. Placed a booking with last minute. Received confirmation from both last minute and City Style. Arrived only to have to contact with the property managers. Had to push 2 days worth of work into one day as this accommodation was not made available once i arrived. I paid for 2 nights and did not use get to sleep in this apartment at all. I want a refund!

Apartment had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Great that you could open up the windows wide to get fresh air. Easy walk to restaurants and the lake.

Great location and amenities. Rooms were dirty. Windows were smeared. Walls marked. Showers handle broken, shower cubicle mouldy. Black hairs on the floor of the bathroom and toilet brush was filthy.
