One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at in terms of the room facilities. TV, room phone and bedside light didn't work and the door return had been removed entirely. This place is in serious need of some money being spent on maintenance. The Ibis Group should be ashamed of it. The staff were excellent considering the environment in which they have to work.

Kids loved the pool. Room was dirty, TV and phone didn’t work. Sink cracked, curtains didn’t cover the whole window. Hooks falling off the doors. Just generally very tired run down and needs a major revamp and renovation. Did not match the photos at all.

Rooms were hot, airconditioning not reaching the bedrooms, the blind in one bedroom wouldn' t close, dead insect on bed, no window in the lounge/dining room/kitchen. No lift to first floor. We checked out immediately.

We travel to Canberra frequently and Ibis is one of the top properties we enjoy staying at. It is convenient and local and all staff are lovely and helpful. Great for families.

This place has declined so much in such a short time. It was dirty, smelly and needs lots of maintenance. The pool, pancake maker, vending machines and tvs were out of order. The staff have scripts to explain these to patrons because they are having to say it so frequently. Staff were lovely and patient but surely their turnover rate must be high working in such awful conditions. There were ant infestations within the room. The showers swap between scalding hot and freezing with no warning. We were not given enough towels for the amount of people staying and had to request a blanket and sheets for the bunk as WHS prevents cleaners making their bunks. Spare blankets in the room were filthy and stained. While we stayed, a car parked in the apparently secure carpark had its wheel removed and left on a jack. The breakfast was lacklustre, cereal not restocked across multiple days. The teacups absolutely filthy and stained with physical particles caked onto them. The scrambled eggs pale and crumbly. The pool looks lovely, however was out of operation our entire stay and we were advised to try the Manuka public pool. This place is not cheap enough to be so bad. I hate to leave such negative reviews but I want to save other travellers the cost.

Check in took a really long time. Couldn’t find my booking information, and then gave very vague information on where the room was located. We were not informed that they have no internet upon check in. Linen was clean - mattress however was not. Shower needs a good bleach session. Bar fridge took 2 days to make anything cold. Food was good. All other staff were helpful and friendly. Location was central to our activities. 3 out 5.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. However the accommodation is abit outdated but it's very clean. There are not much variety of food choices at the accommodation but it's surrounded by a lot of shopping centres if willing to drive 5-10mins out.

Staff were very helpful in finding a room that suited a disabled relative. The room was spacious and clean. However the venue overall needs repair and replacement of items - eg a block-out curtain was missing from the window. The room had no fridge, which I was told about and this did not worry me but others might require it. Potholes and cracks in the driveway and paths made walking to rooms potentially unsafe.

Extremely poor condition
First room TV didn’t work, room need vacuuming, bed in terrible condition, door hard to open. Moved to another room - phone didn’t work, tap leaked on vanity, no seat at desk, no conditioner in bottle, no spoon for coffee or tea, fan in bathroom very loud. First and last time staying here.
