The mattress in the main bedroom sagged into the middle and we found the glass coffee table in the lounge was too big for the area and we had to move it to allow our elderly guest to get to the lounge seats.

Sorry you found coffee table too big.
I had a smaller one and guests found it to be too small for 9 guests.
Hence, went for a larger coffee table to suite guest capacity. Incase any other guest find it too large, I will return the smaller coffee table which is still available.

I Will test the mattress and check if I need to change it .
You're the first guest to highlight the sagging. It's a fairly new mattress in good condition but will definitely check it and replace if need be.

Great accommodation

Joyce was excellent with answering all questions promptly.
I would recommend this accommodation to anybody considering visiting this area.

Work Trip Away From The Chaos
Publié le 8 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayAmazing service provided by Joyce leading up to the stay. She even popped past to provide us with some milk and cookies which was very thoughful. The place served us well while attending a work event in Canberra. I stuffed up on the dates we booked, however Joyce was very accomodating with the changes at the last minute. Highly recommend

Short stay in Canberra

Clean, warm (Canberra was surprisingly cold for that time of year) and well appointed - just like a hotel. There was lots of little touches like toiletries, a coffee machine and some basic food in the pantry that saved us having to go to the shop on our first night.
Check-in was a little difficult as we had to wait for the host to bring us the key and she was un-contactable for about half an hour when we first arrived. A simple lockbox or other method of check-in would solve that issue. Also, the lock up garage was not available for use which was a shame as we had a trailer of equipment we would have liked to store in the garage during our stay. That said - there was loads of parking room so we had no issue 'boxing' our trailer in for peace of mind. A wonderful house in a very quiet neighborhood. Will definitely book it again.
