Great family getaway
Publié le 13 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a large group 5 adults and 4 kids from ages 1-11. This house was perfect for us! We have enough room for everyone to have their own space but still be together as a family! The pool was perfect to relax in. Especially then the ocean was rougher and trying to avoid the rocks in the beach. We were there during sea turtle mating season so we were able to take walks and see several turtles on the beach laying their eggs! It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience! Joseph was the perfect host and was always responsive and helpful for any questions that came up.

Lovely condo, some aspects not as we expected

Pros: beautiful setting, lots of space, pool is great, the bottled water dispenser was so so helpful. Super clean house, fridge is nice and big. Front desk staff were really helpful. Gift shop was great for cold drinks/snacks. There is a safe in one of the bedrooms. Resort also has ATMs and baggage storage.
Cons: beach had red flag warning the whole week, so we never actually got to swim from the house. Washing machine doesn't work, restaurants close early (6pm) except for the buffet which was quite small. Off resort restaurants we saw on google were actually part of other resorts, so it was buffet or 12 min Uber to get dinner. We did have a strange man walking around on our private pool deck the last morning, and housekeeping does not knock, so they caught us by surprise a few times

If you stay here you should communicate with the host about any extra things you need for the villa or want to plan outside the villa. I didn’t understand that at first. There is no handicap access. No one in our group has a handicap, but I thought it would be good to mention it. The pool is dreamy. The house looks as pictured.

Beach Bach Getaway

The check in process was easy, communication was awesome and consistent, and the chef and his creative meals was a wonderful cherry on top. Highly recommend.

Beach or Pool?
Publié le 9 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayIt was our first time visiting Cancún and we could not have picked a better place to get the best of both worlds. The house/villa access to the beach is just a walk downstairs… or you can just relax on the infinity pool that has the best views from sunrise to sunset. We were so lucky to be there for turtle hatching season and every night we got to release 50 to 300 turtles. It was an amazing experience! The house was comfortable for all 14 of us. Housekeeping will come everyday to clean it and replace towels. They were very polite and always aware of our needs. Edwin from reception was attentive. There are a few things that the house needs to fix like the doorknob from the room downstairs, the lock from the door that has access to the beach and also the dryer does not work which I inform the owner. I also liked that the restaurant/bar was right next to us so we will order drinks and food and they will walk it to us. We tried the breakfast. It was served buffet style for $250 pesos and the food was delicious specially the chilaquiles. Another thing I will mention is that all the showers except one are see through lol I really didn’t care bc I had my own room but if you’re sharing it could be uncomfortable. Overall it was a great experience!!!

Family Vacation 2023

No sale agua caliente, o tarda muchos minutos en salir.
El acceso a la playa es dificil pues esta muy alto y hay que pegar un brinco. Al regreso es peor aun pues hay que trepar sin sosten. Mi hija consiguio una piedra y la arrimo como solucion temporal. La lavadora no funciona. Los aparatos son complejos, seria mejor colocar unos simples.
