THE RESORT IN GENERAL IS OK NO ACTIVITIES AT ALL MOST OF THE STAF COULD SPEAK NOE ENGLISH THE WOMEN STAF WERE ALL VERY UNFRIENDLY THE MALE STAF WAS FOR THE MOST PART GOOD LOST ELECTICITY 1 WHOLE DAY THE BUFFET RESURANT WAS NOT VERY GOOD THE RESTURANT THET YOU HAD TO MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR WAS GREAT. I HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN TO TWO DIFFERENT RESORTS IN THIS AREA AND THEY WERE SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS RESORT IN EVERYWAY I DO NOT RECCOMEND GOING HERE

Dear guest, we regret not having exceeded your high expectations during your stay at Hotel Flamingo, however we can note that not everything was bad, we must emphasize that our staff does not speak an additional language because they are local people and are not required to speak an additional language. On the other hand, the service they provide has nothing to do with the language barrier.Regarding electricity, it was not just a flamingo situation but in the entire area, including the two hotels where you mentioned having previously stayed, it was something general on the part of the federal electricity commission (CFE).Our flamingo hotel, over the years, has pampered thousands of people who visit us during its 38 years of operation in the hotel market.

I was unable to travel to trip because family emergency and resort would not provide a refund or any reasonable accommodation. Despite them requesting medical documents to prove situation and me providing it.

The beach was beautiful and water clear. The resort was ok if you are staying for the weekend. We upgraded to swim up pool and the toilet didn’t work, swim up pool dirty, next door people was having sex at night outside swim up pool. Imaging!! They don’t clean pool and on top of it someone is having sex in swim up pool. Not good. It’s suppose to be family oriented not adults only. My father’s room shower was not working .. no water was coming out. I would not be staying again at flamingo.

Vacation from Hell!!! You go on vacation so you can relax but this place is doing crazy noisy construction every morning at 8/9am inside the hallways AND outside near the beach Cabanas as well. Cant sleep anywhere! They saw and bang tools all day for 5 day until 5/6pm
Next thing the details says there’s 4 restaurants on the resort is not true.
There’s only 2 real sit down restaurants and the other two is a small snack bar. Food is below mediocre even albatross which you have to make rsvp a day ahead for dinner is not good at all.
Our room also has no vents in the bathroom so there is mold in the bathroom ALSO there was a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom and leaking water the entire stay! We told maintenance guys, people at front desk if we can change rooms, and even someone call our room asking how our stay is.
Nothing was done!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Facility was less than impressive. Big difference between the photos on their website and what you actually see when you get here. But probably one of the best beaches I have stayed at. The beach is a big enough trade off the balance out the condition of the older building. Over all. Not a bad place to stay for the price.
