In December the pools are mostly in shade because of the height of the buildings. The beaches were in the sunshine. Otherwise we loved the resort. The staff was awesome!

Do not sleep on the Gem Spa. The entire hotel is gorgeous and well maintained but has a very dated aesthetic. It is SO clean, everything smells amazing always. They service all showers and washroom with Occitane products which is great. The staff mainly Alex at the sunset pool bar and Laura in vacation center were awesome. The kids club, though beautiful and huge was not a hit with my kids (7 and 3) the hours are strange also. The food leaves lots to be desired unfortunately. Even the a la carte restaurants were all a miss. Our favourite meal of the day was always breakfast. We also enjoyed the taco bar at the beach. The beach was great. Small waves so perfect for the kids. All in all I would give it a solid 3.8/5.

Great stay for a family of 4 including 2 kids. Family friendly resort with great beaches and pools. All inclusive amenities were great but food was mediocre unless you reserve a spot for in house restaurants. Desserts were outstanding though. Rooms in the resorts were ok considering it’s an old resort and rooms need some renovations. We had to switch the rooms considering the ocean front room we booked had no view at all even after paying a good price for it. Moreover, the phone and TV remote was not operational and one of the bedsheets was torn. Overall a good experience as other things worked out well for our family but it could have been better.

We stayed on the 7th floor and the ocean view was fantastic. The room service and other services were excellent. The ocean was super blue and couple restaurants food were delicious. The hotel itself was a bit outdated and did not have a lot of amenities for kids. However, the overall experience was excellent.

Very dated. Mirror has rust coming through, looked like it was nice at one time maybe 90s. Food was deplorable. I get it’s all inclusive and quality suffers but thankfully the property was located with walkable restaurants near by.
