Julio down at the pool was amazing. He was attentive. He was nice and funny. He worked his butt off the entire time we were there overall like if the resort at 10 we already booked our next trip back. The food options are OK but we were not going for the food we were going for the relaxation. The pools are amazing. The beach is amazing. The drinks are amazing the staff Are all amazing. Everyone was nice. Our experience overall was a 10 out of 10. A lot of the reviews are not good, but don’t look at the reviews other than I will say you do have to get on the app at 9 AM to try to get a dinner reservation, but we were totally fine on the day that we missed on. We just ate at the buffet which was fine. You can buy a bottle of wine and they’ll offer you a dining option basically I think it’s a staffing issue again don’t base this place off the reviews. They’re not all completely right.

The hotel was in a decent location. Access to the pools and beach is very convenient. The hotel staff was friendly except for two that were unnecessarily rude. The food is okay but could be better especially at the taco hut. Also, I did not like ‘checking-in’ by someone that was trying to sell villas upon arrival at the hotel. We had to get in line for the real check-in and were asked to complete paperwork that we previously completed. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would stay again!

Having recently stayed at the Wyndham Grand Cancun (formerly Omni), I found the experience to be a mixed bag with some notable highlights and disappointments. The property, which underwent ownership change to Wyndham about 15 months ago, shows both promise and areas needing improvement. ## The Good The standout feature is the new water park, which Wyndham added after taking over. It's particularly well-suited for children under 10, offering a fun and safe environment for younger guests. One of the best perks is the complimentary Thai beds in the water park area – a significant value considering similar beds by the main pool cost between $90-$200 (though those do include fruit, cheese platters, and wine). ##Mixed Experience The NYE show was great; it was accompanied by a full buffet although I cannot comment on the taste/quality as no one told us that there would be food, so we ate in advance of the show at one of the hotel restaurants. The show itself was decent; the staff also provided NYE accessories which made the countdown fun. They also had a photo booth with great quality photos. ## Areas for Improvement The kids club (ages 5-12) falls short in several aspects. While it offers activities, the supervision is minimal with just one staff member who remains at the front desk. The promised water park activities rarely happen as they require all children to have swimwear. Parents are required to check in every 30-45 minutes, which is particularly inconvenient given the 10

It seems like this hotel has accepted more guests than it can accommodate. When ordering a hamburger, it usually took at least an hour, and sometimes even two hours.

It is a nice property, safe, walkable to different hotels, easy finding transportation for going to the mall in different shopping locations, nice staff good food, and OK drinks. You have to pay extra if you wanna get some fancy drinks, and some staff ate there to push you for who push you for kind of time-share. I would stay any time again at this resort
