Publié le 13 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect accommodations for families. Small space but didn't feel cramped. We loved it, and plan to return. I will say that heavy rains may cause flash flooding but the water moved away quickly so our plans were minimally disrupted. The host was very helpful in assisting us with car rental. We will go back as soon as we are able!!!!!!

Tropical storms are amazing to experience and can cause rainwater to flow onto the property. It doesn't impact the buildings and drains away quite quickly. Our property managers are wonderful. Always helpful and focused on the safety and comfort of our guests. The Cottages are a perfect place to vacation with family and friends. You are in good hands when you stay with us.

This cottage was so quaint and so close to everything we needed for a beautiful and relaxing vacation. We loved hearing the Caribbean waves at night!! The staff were efficient friendly and very courteous !!

Publié le 5 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayI love staying at the cottage. It is spotless clean and well equipped for beach use. Very comfortable. I walk right across the street to the beach. Sharlene and Pinky are so helpful with every aspect even arranging a rental car to be delivered. Cane Garden Bay has the most friendly and caring people. Lots of island style restaurants in walking distance. A great place to get away to. Can’t wait to go back!

The kitchen has everything needed to make about any meal you want. There is even everything you need to go to the beach and enjoy the day. The beach is a quick walk from the cottage. The beach is beautiful, with many dining options.

Just what we needed
Publié le 23 oct. 2019 sur HomeAwayGreat location to have a home base. The house was well stocked with necessities. Just note that there’s no air except in the bedroom, but we were fine. We walked to several places to eat and have a drink. The beach there was beautiful and we went to several others too. Be sure and get a 4wheel drive to get to some of the hidden jewels. We took an all day boat trip and got to swim with turtles, snorkel over a shipwreck, some caves and The Baths. Was worth every penny!

Disappointed
Publié le 29 août 2019 sur HomeAwayCottage was fine. Location was ok, just across from a cemetery. I would've rated the experience higher, but for the surprising disconnection of our hot water with 3 days, plus the AM we left, that remained of our 9 night stay. We did our best to follow the rule of turning the heater off when we were done and both my wife and I are pretty sure that we did, but on Thursday the cleaning people came and waha! - no hot water. I email the owner twice but received no response. No response the following day, either. I checked the breakers; nothing. Went outside to ck the heater itself (I'm an ex-general contractor) and saw that the shed door was protected with a padlock. This shut-off was clearly done on purpose.
What is so disappointing here is the attitude toward their guests that their action showed. There was nothing diplomatic in that
disconnection- no concern for their guests at all!, and especially with that lack of any further communication.
There are a few standards that exist in being a hotelier. When a stranger comes into your orbit, and you are paid to provide a room and to make that stranger comfortable, you are expected to, are obligated to, provide the comfort and security that the arrangement demands. This was not done here. There was no warning, no phone call, nothing. Their treatment of us was a disappointment.
For that simple, and rather dumb reason, we will not return or recommend their property.

Samantha and I have both apologized to Dave for his disappointing experience. What occurred was the result of a miscommunication between Dave and Samantha. The problem was a faulty wall switch that could have been replaced within hours. Our managers strive for excellence, and guest comfort is their highest priority. We are taking steps to ensure guests know clearly what to do if they discover any deficiency with their Cottage. Our lesson from this is that managers must connect directly with guests that do reach out, to ensure their concerns are properly understood.

We really liked the cottage and and the beautiful grounds.

Having beach chairs, an umbrella, and an ice chest was great for spending the days at the beach. The staff was excellent and accommodating for our requests. We definitely are looking forward to staying here again on a future trip.
