Publié le 26 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayOur week stay was perfect : the welcome from Ben and Jen, the dinner option on the first evening, the perfectly thought accommodation…and the view of course ! Thanks for the advice on trails and restaurants : we have not been disappointed.

To facilitate the guests feeling great, the owners rebuilt a finca into a luxurious home with a unique view on the Picos de Europa.
One can only get such views in the countryside and on higher ground, so the house is slightly remote but not isolated and still close to the nearby city of Cangas de Onis. They managed to combine high standerd comfort without overdoing it, which makes it wonderful.
The owner’s advice on what one can do in Asturias was a source of inspiration and provided opportunities to enjoy both mountains countryside and the coastal area to the fullest.
A great place to stay!

Publié le 1 août 2021 sur HomeAwayLieu exceptionnel, calme et authentique, ou nous avons été accueillis avec plein d'attentions (mais en toute discretion) de la part de Jen et Ben tout au long du séjour. La maison est magnifique et d'excellente qualité. Une vue imprenable sur la montagne depuis toutes les pièces de la maison. Nous y reviendrons avec certitude et nous recommandons ce logement vivement.

The Perfect Retreat

La mejor experiencia en Asturias, alojamiento inmejorable!
Publié le 29 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayPulieru ha sido con diferencia el mejor alojamiento en el que nos hemos estado y la mejor experiencia en Asturias. Cada detalle de la casa está perfectamente cuidado y el trato con Jen y Ben no podría haber sido mejor.
La casa permite encontrar el equilibrio perfecto entre el relax de las montañas y poder conocer algunos de los enclaves más famosos de Asturias.
No podemos mencionar ninguna pega, sólo estamos deseando volver el próximo año!

Is it as good as Pulieru? will be asked at every future place we visit and I can well imagine that very few will measure up. The pictures on line are as accurate as pictures can be, but they don’t nearly do the house or the jaw dropping scenery justice. It is a spectacular location with a house that has recently been renovated with everything you could possible need for a vacation. And then there are Jen and Ben, the hosts, who are two of the nicest people you will ever meet who have outfitted the house with every comfort and with a magic cupboard that they have filled with everything you could possibly need for meals and snacks should you be too tired to drive down the crazy, steep, windy, one lane road to get to the nearest store. (You do have to pay for these things, but seriously you would be happy to pay more just for the marvelous convenience of it. ) if I could award Pulieru 10 stars I would. Some day I will be back because I fear I have left my heart in the mountains of Asturias.

If only VRBO did 6*....

"Ben y Jen" provided detailed local information including a selection of curated walks, some of which could be completed from the property. A welcome pack, house Netflix subscription and complimentary BBQ coals etc were just some of the little additional touches which made this property the best VRBO property we have stayed in. Thoroughly recommend!

The property is very comfortable, clean, exceptionally well equipped, good Wifi, Netflix and with many other thoughtful elements which added to the enjoyment of our family’s stay. Everything worked. The pizza dinner was delicious.
A pleasure to meet the hosts Ben and Jen whose communication prior to arrival, and welcome and advice about the local area was excellent - there are lots of possibilities to make a lovely holiday here. Overall, memorable and captivating.
