A Peaceful Oasis

It was stocked well of everything you could think of the wildlife was wonderful to watch the sunrise coming up over the river. It was beautiful, the boats and barges that went down the river were neat. Just an absolute dream to stay there and enjoy it

Birthday Getaway
Publié le 19 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I went for a getaway for my birthday. The property was really nice. It was very peaceful and quite pretty. It was definitely a remote location. The closet grocery is about 20 miles away, but it was a wonderful place to enjoy nature and have some downtime.

A Magical Place!
Publié le 5 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayI stayed in the Yin Yang cabin for my 46th birthday. It was a much needed respite in my busy life. Shelly was so kind and attentive. The view of the river is gorgeous. Definitely stay here!

Relaxing Vacation
Publié le 28 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe scheduled our vacation at yinyang cabin as our annual vacation instead of the beach. We were in desperate need of a getaway but due circumstances didn't want a long drive. This cabin did not disappoint. We didn't even turn on the TV. Quiet mornings on the deck, relaxing in the hot tub, and watching the barge traffic go by. Society could have ended and we would not have even known. It was perfect!

Just what we needed

We have looked at the Yin Yang property for several months on VRBO. we finally made the reservation and we’re there this past weekend. All of our stress melted away. The view of the Ohio river was spectacular. We sat on the deck for several hours daily watching the boats and also the birds.
The house was comfortable. There is a bird feeder outside the kitchen window. We saw so many different species. Although there was a TV, we never turned it on. We just enjoyed the quiet and the nature.

Hello, Tina! It is Wonderful that you & your husband were able to spend a few quiet days to unwind & Relax! You mentioned before that your husbands teaching career was getting a little Too Stressful, and that you also needed that time to be still. Perfect
Publié le 10 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayYin-Yang was one of 4 VRBOs our large group rented for a long weekend that included the Kentucky Derby. It was perfect! The houses are all close enough that the group could easily go between homes but have own space as well. This would be the perfect destination for a family reunion, friend getaway or to experience the Kentucky Derby like our crew did!
