On s'y sent comme à la maison car le logement est très confortable . Un endroit parfait pour être au plus près de la nature et de nombreux sites à visiter!

Family vacation in the Garden of England
Publié le 8 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe received a warm welcome and enjoyed a peaceful and pleasant stay in Hardacre house lodging. Our guests are very nice people. They did their utmost to make us feel like home and gave us tips on where to go shopping and visiting the surroundings.

Dont Stay at Twyne Cottage
Publié le 15 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayFilthy dirty, not acceptable! We left early as soon as we found other accommodation, the host then cancelled our booking online to stop me adding a review of our awful experience at the cottage.
We have photos to prove our awful experience if anyone is interested???

It is very disappointing to read such a negative review. The client was returning to live in the UK from New Zealand and we appreciate this type of move is very stressful. Therefore it is important to be flexible. As the dates confirmed with VRBO were not convenient, we allowed the clients to arrive early. We were surprised when they turned up with 8 cats without notice.
Following their arrival, we were advised there was a wasp nest somewhere in the garden and we dealt with it within 24 hours.
We are extremely attentive to our clients' needs. And always deal with problems immediately.
The clients had been with us for more than 2 weeks, however, while we were away and much to our surprise, they left without any prior warning.
We are most distressed to be given such a negative review as this is the very first time it has happened.

Country village break

The owners are very friendly and helpful and close by in case of any issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to revisit.

5 weeks in Preston
Publié le 30 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayA great holiday cottage well equiped, in a peaceful location, 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom small private garden and off street parking we had the pleasure of staying for 5 weeks the owners are lovely and friendly without being intrusive we would stay again at any time of the year.

Another great stay!

Best kept secret is the dark skies on clear nights - Milky Way, loads of less bright constellations and meteor showers 😀

A peaceful haven

A real gem.
Publié le 5 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe stayed with our little dog for two weeks at Twyne Cottage. It is such a lovely homely cottage with everything that you could require and is so peaceful. Henrietta and David made us so welcome and left us bread, butter, eggs, milk and apple juice to get us started which was really appreciated. If you have a dog there is a quiet park a few hundred yards away and an old orchard directly over the road for walking them. The garden centre in the village, a short walk away, serves excellent food and there is a dog friendly pub opposite it. The cottage is perfect for visiting all the nearby seaside towns and Canterbury all within around a thirty minute drive. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday in lovely surroundings with great hosts you will not find any better than Twyne cottage.

Cosy, warm and bright cottage
Publié le 16 févr. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe stayed in Twyne Cottage for a few weeks whilst awaiting completion of our house purchase. It proved to be a very comfortable, warm and well equipped place in which to spend our time and from which to explore the area around us. It is exceptionally peaceful and also has a lovely little garden to enjoy in the warmer weather.
Henrietta and David, our hosts could not have been more welcoming, flexible and helpful.
Preston has a great village shop, butchers pub and garden centre with lovely cafe/restaurant. Wingham, just a short drive away has more shops and facilities and the local farm shop is one of the best around.
There are great walks straight from the cottage, ideal if you have a dog, plus more within easy driving distance. Those around nearby Goodnestone in particular.

Great little cottage
Publié le 15 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwaylocation was great, lovely and quiet, lovely beaches a short drive away, cottage had everything you need, kitchen slightly small for cooking and storage but sufficiently well stocked, would definitely recommend.
