Carter, We never heard a negative thing from you during your entire visit. Thanks is all we heard. We received no phone calls or texts. To receive that low of a rating without knowing of a problem or the ability to resolve one seems aggressive and discourteous. We would have been glad to resolve any issue immediately as we are always available as you were sent in the welcome email, and during your stay. We invite you to revisit your review.

Peaceful Retreat

Angela was amazing with her contact and direction. We lived the little cabin and enjoyed the quiet time together. I liked the outdoor shower-something very rustic and natural about it. Ambiance was perfect!!

No sleep

Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Hot tub would trip the breaker after running 1-2 min. Frayed power cords running on top of the ground underneath the outdoor shower. Shower head would not adjust and sprayed right in your face. Had to sleep on the couch because the bed was so bad. Insurance policies imposed for extra cost that wasn’t stated upfront. Might be good for one person stay. We won’t be back.

Kyle, With all due respect, we would not offer you another stay. Everything that you said in your review is untrue, except for the bed part which you realize that a slat was off and you said yourself you fixed it. You didn’t even let us know about that until two days into the stay that could’ve been easily remedied. You complained about the hot tub which we came out immediately you said it was not cleaned and it needed water. It was perfectly clean which we already knew because we do it ourselves. Its gets emptied out and refilled with new chemicals for each guest. When we came out we took pictures upon arrival and sent them to you. The wayer level was at the minimum required. Once you get into a hot tub like that the water overflows. As far as the outdoor shower head, it is a removable handheld shower-head. Not quite sure how you didn’t figure that out. We had our electrician come out and check the wires in question and they are non-active wires Everything is grounded. The insurance that you’re questioning is included in your summary before you pay for your rental. You are allowed to have a refundable deposit or the $59 for insurance and you chose the $59 for insurance. So you have to actually physically choose that so you had to have known. You said yourself other than the shower in the bed everything you loved. “We loves the place” yourself.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience! Bryan and Angela were amazing and helped us have an unforgettable time. The attention to detail was incredible. The property is amazing especially the outdoor shower but it was their personal touch that stood out. Will definitely be back every year.

Hope to Stay Again

We loved it. The attention to details and thoughtful actions the hosts took to make it a great time for my partner's birthday weekend, made the stay all the more special. The hot tub and outdoor space was perfect for us and our two dogs. Location was also good for us as the surrounding areas have some fun, dog-friendly hikes, yummy places to eat, and great views of Texas Hill Country. Overall, enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

John, As soon as you notified us that the hot tub was not working correctly we immediately directed you on how to reset it. We sent someone over and fixed it and it’s been working perfectly since then. It was exactly what we said the problem might be to take the filter out rinse it and reset it. A simple simple task to fix as we directed when you first sent a message. We took the wine out because not many people purchase it and that’s why we have concierge services. All you had to do was let us know that you wanted wine in the room. We sent out a welcome letter and two more emails before your visit with the link to the concierge services. So you had several opportunities before you even arrived to ask for wine, and whatever else you wanted to be in the room. We apologize for not having robes in there they were stolen by the previous guest. We would have been glad to bring you some new ones, but you never said anything about that during your stay. We have great reviews as this is a business and we take it very seriously. So to rate us so low without allowing resolution is wrong. We put rose petals on the bed for you guys and we left you a treat in the refrigerator for your anniversary. You didn’t mention any of those things in your review. We are sorry your visu was not what you expected. However, it could have been. Communication is key. Angela and Bryan
