La Dimora toscana keeps its promise

The spots where to rest and farniente are well decorated and the ground is expansive with lots of old trees and flower beds. The interior and the rooms are beautifully arranged and equipped with unfailing air conditioning. The pool and tennis court are beyond expectations. We recommend highly without any reservation.

Idyllic Tuscan villa vacation
Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat can I say ? Dimora del Conicchio was exactly what we’d hoped for. A dream villa for our family of 5 including 2 teenagers and an 8 year old. This property truly offers something for everyone, whether it’s relaxing in the tranquil grounds, cooking a family meal on the traditional Tuscan BBQ or doing something more active like playing tennis or swimming in the beautiful swimming pool. We visited during a heatwave and so having so many different shady spots around the garden and of course the pool was very welcome. In the evening we enjoyed the charming décor of the house. At night the AC option was a real plus given the temperature while we visited and meant we slept really well. The location of the property is great, it’s just in land, set in beautiful countryside, but within 15mins there are fantastic food shops, restaurants and the local beach which we loved visiting for an early morning swim and a coffee at one of the cafes. Also recommended is a trip to Monteti winery. Stunning.
To top it all off, the kindness, hospitality and helpfulness of hosts Loredana and Maurizio made the vacation extra special. They helped us with arrangements for a birthday celebration evening and all of their recommendations for places to eat or things to do were spot on.
10/10 - We will most definitely be coming back !

Publié le 20 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved it and the hosts are wonderful. My daughter’s bag got lost by the airline and our host helped us to sort it out. Thank you!!! As we arrived tennis rackets were prepared, a big bowl with fruit and their own homemade olive oil.

Captivating Capalbio Paradise
Publié le 25 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is simply a wonderful property, owned and managed by two wonderful people - Loredana and Maurizio. Of all the properties at which we have stayed as a family, this must surely be our favourite, as there is nothing it lacks and so much it has to offer, from multiple tranquil outdoor seating areas to an oasis-like pool, to great sports facilities. The house itself is also beautifully renovated and decorated with all modern conveniences but with a rustic Tuscan farmhouse ‘feel’. Add to this the delights of the surrounding area and you have a truly remarkable property in an incomparable location. We cannot recommend it more highly!

Wonderful Authentic Tuscan villa

We have stayed at several villas in Tuscany before, but this one is by far the best !
Very friendly host with excellent communication before and during our trip
Facilities are amazing, highlights for activities included a super clear large infinity pool with both a shallow and deeper end, full size tennis court and table tennis table (with equipment provided)
There was so much space for relaxing both inside and outside the property
The property was very clean and well-maintained with lots of personal touches to enhance our stay
We will definitely be coming back in the future !!

Traumhafter Familienurlaub
Publié le 24 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWir waren im August 1 Woche hier. Es war perfekt! Das Haus sowie das Grundstück sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es fehlt an nichts. Der Pool hat eine tolle Größe und die Wasserqualität war nach einer Woche intensiver Nutzung weiterhin super!
Die Gegend um Capalbio bieten tolle Ausflüge und auch der Strand ist nicht weit. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Amazing stay

It was a hot, hot week, and the pool was always welcome, but having so many areas to find your own space was fantastic. The air-conditioning was very welcome, but the house remained cool. It is so well equipped inside and out. We definitely feel we have found a favourite place.

/pool and a house that works really well - comfortable and practical, with lovely spaces for all to relax.
