Very authentic location in the hills around Lucca, surrounded by beautiful countryside, overlooking olive groves and vineyards. The residence is completely undisturbed but with Italian neighbors so you do not feel too isolated. Extremely centrally located for sight-seeing and near a small village. You can very easily get to restaurants, wine tasting at the surrounding farms - there is a wine farm within walking distance - like the well-known noble family villas not far from here.

It is a spacious villa with cozy homelike atmosphere more than a rental house. There is a lovely large covered patio area right outside the door, which is furnished for dining. Here you will undoubtedly get to spend many hours.

The 6 x 12 meter swimming pool is located in front of the property overlooking the kind of landscape one imagines to find in Tuscany. The depth varies from 1.20 to 1.80 mt. Children in or around the pool must be under adult supervision at all times.
At the pool you have a large covered furnished terrace with table tennis and a rustic outdoor kitchen consisting of table, sink, grill.
The house is surrounded by a large property with access to a flat lawn suitable children's play.

The house is rustic with wood-beamed ceilings, original stone floors and the decor is simple familial. The house developes over three levels and is therefore well suited for more families travelling together. It consists of:
Entrance on the ground floor level to the living room with smart tv, open plan dining kitchen (antique stone sink, large kitchen with six burners, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, American coffee machine), large living room with dining area that opens up to the covered terrace. Room with washing machine.

A few steps down from the living room is a large double bedroom with private bathroom with shower.This room has direct access to the garden.
On the top floor are four bedrooms with double bed, the master bedroom has tv. One of these rooms has a private bathroom and closed stair access to ground floor room. A twin bedroom. Two bathrooms. The bedrooms on the first floor has air conditioning.

Wifi. Baby beds and high chairs. (Max allowed two babies more then the 12 people). Hairdryer. Covered parking within the property.

Idyllic area

Overall the villa had adequate but basic furnishings. This is offset by the fact that the area it is in is easily accessible by car to Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Pool is more suited to adults as children need to be swimmers or held by adults. There is a sudden step down from the shallow to the deep end which meant that the 6 year old swimmer in our party had to be reminded of this fact.

Recent Stay October 16

A group of 9 adults stayed for 6 nights. Communication with the property manager was good until we arrived and then we had difficulties getting any response from anyone listed in the information book as contacts. The villa is lovely in a beautiful location, however it caters more to being outside as there is no comfortable living area other than sitting at the kitchen table inside. The small couch and chair were terribly uncomfortable. Two of the beds, I believe in room 2 and 4 were hard as rocks and my husband and I did not sleep well at all. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. There is a store nearby and the people running it were lovely and so very helpful to us. Our biggest challenge was transportation . We didn’t rent cars because we were such a big group, no one wanted to drive in Italy and we understood there were taxis and buses to get to Lucca, but neither were reliable. Taxis were very expensive and it was difficult to get them to come out there to get us. Walking to the nearby village was difficult because the roads are narrow with no sidewalks, so it was quite unsafe. We also had a poor experience with someone showing up without telling us, because someone was coming to look at the house because apparently it was for sale.. We weren’t too happy with having people going through the house while we were there. I would recommend this villa during the summer, but as the weather cools off at night it isn’t ideal for spending longer amounts of time inside. You must have a car as well.

Excellent location, lovely villa!

We loved our time here. It was well set up for our three couples. The local area is lovely with a small bar/grocery store 3 minute walk away and a vineyard about 20 minutes walk. There were a few things missing that would have made it even more exceptional (like tissue paper, napkins, paper towels, extra toilet paper) but those are fixable. Great time in a great area!

Fantastic

We had an amazing time, the owners were fantastic, especially having to deal with our flights being cancelled twice, and they were so accommodating in our requests for date changes. They recommended a chef (Sabrina) to come and cook for us one evening, and it really made our holiday special. We are already looking at which Villa we will come to next year. Thank you.

Ideal für Gruppenferien

Schönes, gut ausgestattetes Haus mit grosszügigem Umschwung. Ideal bei gutem Wetter. Die 6 Schlafzimmer sind gut möbliert und verfügen über Stauraum, die 4 Badezimmer grösstenteils ebenfalls. Ess-Wohnküche ist kleiner als gemäss Fotos zu erwarten, bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten wie Sofas für den Aufenthalt bei Schlechtwetter gibt es nur wenige. Schöner, grosser Aussenraum mit verschattetem Essplatz, Pool mit weiterem überdachten Sitzplatz, Grill und Pizzaofen. Das Haus liegt im Grünen und hat eine sehr schöne Aussicht. In der Ausschreibung ist nicht erwähnt, dass es rückseitig an einer - allerdings wenig befahrenen - Strassenkreuzung liegt. Bei schönem Wetter ein toller Ort für Ferien mit Familie oder Freund/innen.

Traumhafte Villa in wunderschöner Lage. Platzangebot riesig, Nachbarn sind weit weg. Lage ist ruhig und dennoch nicht allzu weit von Stadt und Meer entfernt. Ideal für Familien oder Freunde.

Lovely place for a family holiday

We were a group of nine, children and adults. The house was ideal - spacious and well-equipped, and for once an oven that could cope with cooking large meals. The pool was wonderful and the table-tennis provided some hard-fought competitions. The little shop within five minutes walk was useful for basics and there is a big supermarket within 15 minutes' drive. There are plenty of different things to do in the area, to suit all tastes. and lots of restaurants in and around Lucca. A great week - we would have loved to stay longer.

We will be back

Very peacefull place and just what we wanted. We will be back. The amenities inside and out were perfect. We had a lovely relaxing holiday, enjoying the private pool. It is the perfect place for visiting Lucca and other historic towns and driving through the gorgeous Italian countryside. One day we walked to an agriturismo for winetasting and lunch. That was great. There is also a bar withing walking distance. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

We will be back!

We loved it all. What a place. Perfect for a family gathering. Lots of space for the children to play and we adults were happy that the terrace was just infront of the kitchen. We had a mamma to cook for us 1 evening and that was absolutely fantastic. Such a wonderful Tuscan meal on our own terrace - without having to do anything. That I call holiday. One day we walked to a local agriturismo for a winetasting booked by Elisabeth. That was great fun. Thanks for having us.

We had a wonderful family holiday in villa Sandra

We were 2 families with children and everybody really enjoyed this place. The house was very well prepared for us and the pool perfectly clean. We celebrated a birthday and Elisabeth organized for at mamma to come and cook for us. That was a great success. We were really sorry to leave and we hope to be able to come back. Also because we spend so much time playing in the garden and in the pool that we did not see much of Tuscany. This is the best holiday house we have ever rented in Tuscany and we will for sure be come back. Thank you for having us. Ciao Ciao
